With my limited experience in Germany I'd say Black Forest area and Rhine River region is good riding area. Munich is awesome city along with Berlin.
It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want pure ruding experience, Alps should be your top priority.
Have fun and post lots of pictures.

Today I finally escaped from Paris. It's an amazing city but not really fun riding in Paris.
It's been extremely hot here and today the temperature drop was very soothing.
I hit local road going south and ended up near Oleans. From there I turned West.
Now I'm chilling at the hostel in Le Mans.

I’d like a mixture. Riding would mean me getting from one place to another without taking bus but also enjoying the scenery along the way. Thanks for the tips.

I’m leaving from Germany tomorrow and wow, I know what you mean about the heat. It’s raining today, yay.

Take secondary roads. It helps if you have GPS if not you will get lost, but worth it.

I've been riding French country roads. I am slowly approaching Spain.

Actually I’m going home tomorrow :(

But you’re absolutely right about the small roads!

I thought Norwegians got the tunnel thing mastered. Here is the best lit tunnel so far. Enter from the French side, exit in Spain. [IMG]
