Fantastic trip report! I'm from a town called Ballymena, up in County Antrim. I see you came as far north as Armagh, across that border is where our history gets sketchy haha. I absolutely love Spain, it's one of my favourite places for holidays, Spain and Portugal. Cheap beer, tasty BBQ food, beautiful girls, endless sunshine, and fun parties. What more could you want? I'm planning to buy a house there when I retire (still 30 years away), those mountains in the Sierra Nevada national park down south in Andalusia are amazing. Believe it or not, most old Westerns were filmed in Andalusia. Where to after Spain?

Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way is one of my favorite.
I will visit Morocco after Spain. At least that's my plan. We will see. I'm operating on Amore Fati.

Picked up the bike from IMTBIKE. They took care of the bike and even gave it a bath it badly needed. The bike never looked so clean.

I rode to Cuenca to escape the Madrid heat. It usually would take couple of hours on a motorway but I took the secondary roads and arrived at Cuenca late afternoon. It's much cooler here for its elevation.

I woke up feeling like a rider. Finally I'm excited for the ride ahead. I am going to Alcala del Jucar and continue on to Valencia.

So me and Jorge the Sharman, Aussie the imperialist, and there were a Russian army deserter whom I can't show photo for the obvious reason hung out at the Valencia beach front Burger King drinking beer till 5 am. Yes you can have beer at Burger King in Spain.
Next morning 10 am I left all that madness in massive hang over. No more CBD for rescue. I was hurting.
I had to stop south of Gandia. I found a hostel right front of the beach. When I got there they were all sold out. But when the manager recognized I was exhausted he arraigned somehow. I was set. So thankful I got to rest. I really needed that.

After needed rest, I left in the morning. I felt so good I decided to get some bike service. All I wanted was to tighten up the chain.
As usual, most of the moto shops were either closed for the lunch break or on vacation.
I found this shop open. You can tell by the way they do a simple job like a chain service, they care about the quality.
The way they lube, adjust, and check for this and that, shows the pride in their work.
At the end they didn't want to charge me anything. I can't have that. So I handed him a folded bill while we shook hand.
