    THE GARAGE CLEANING CONTINUES ................................

FOR SALE: 3 antique wooden adjustable bar clamps.

These all have a 2 position adjustable wooden screw, and an adjustable wooden sliding tail piece.
The screws are mounted with a double mortise/tenon joint.
I've had these for decades and have never seen any more exactly like them.
I've looked all over them and have never seen any kind of markings or name either.
The metal parts that let the blocks adjust look to be hand forged and hand peened.

I was told that they probably came from a furniture factory in the northeast, but I'm not sure that I believe that.
IF these have been used very much ......... someone was VERY CAREFUL with them.
All of my modern clamps eventually get goobered over with stain, lots of glue, paint, etc. ..... and these are just way too clean to have been used that much.

Two of these are 36" clamps and measure about 48" overall without the screw being removed.
The other one is 48" and will measure about 58" overall.

As you can easily see I put a little light mineral oil on the screws to make them smoother.
The whole clamp should probably be wiped down with a very light furniture oil ......... they'll look better and it'll keep glue/stain/paint from adhering to the clamp too well.

    Holler with any questions ....................

I'd like to get $125 EACH for these .............. or $300 for all 3 shipped CONUS.
    NOW ........... $115 EACH ............................ or $275 for all 3 shipped CONUS.
    NOW ........... $105 EACH ............................ or $250 for all 3 shipped CONUS.
    NOW ........... $100 EACH ............................ or $225 for all 3 shipped CONUS.

Double full-width mortise and tenon joints are still tight.
