Yeah, but he ain’t human.... he’s one of those Canaliens.... don’t believe me... ask him about hanging a 990 in a tree with his teeth while in flip flops... ain’t human I’m telling yeah.

I meet Jordan at the LAB2V this last thanksgiving. He was tearing it up on the 790A bike. We rode together for a short time on the second day of the event. There were a lot of washes and G-outs where we were at, so I rode my 525 conservatively because I was concerned that he might have issues with that big beast at those hidden surprises...apparently too conservatively, he blew by me in the sand wash, and I struggled to keep up with his dust! I got to eat lunch with him and we chatted a bunch...and yeah, he’s a super cool guy for sure!

Per Jordan today, he was the only one who got all the waypoints, but it's unclear how the penalties will be handled for any missing points. Said he had a good off... Broke the nav tower with his face, and dinged a rim. Is ready to have at it tomorrow though and will keep pushing!

Both Radek & Lica are great riders and super humble and also total work horses.

Have you heard any updates from Jordan or the other 790 racers?

Radek & Lica have said it has been unreal having full KTM support as they just beat the 790 and the next morning they look like new.

Well, a huge congratulations to all of the amateurs racers who made it there and did as well as they did!!! And thank you KTM for letting our amateur racers have the opportunity to race on your new bikes...in a different country to boot!

Yep, still great to see a North American Podium though! Glad a couple of our resident crazy big bike people got the opportunity and didn't disappoint!

I thought I read in the rules that if you'd ever raced as a pro you didn't qualify for the rally?

    That's what I thought I read too...

I think the fine print was "compete as a pro in a FIM rally" or something like that.

I think it had something in there about not have competed professionally in the last 10 years or something like that. I give him props for being old and out of shape (his words) and make’n the cut. I’m impressed and a bit surprised he got the win.
