Next up would be a VIP ticket to the Flying Heritage museum the late Paul Allen started. @Captain Hobo got me psyched on this event and we also met @HellsAlien up there. Nothing like fellow inmates!!

Let’s not forget about the guy paragliding who landed right on the road across from us! He started in Issaquah and 3 hours later ended his floating journey on the pass.

I have to say that riding the Concours long distance, is like sitting on the edge of a diving board and your friend just jumped up and down behind you. The KTM is my favorite!

So our house deal has been our top priority. Trying to lay low and get things organized etc. When it gets too hot you just need to get outta the kitchen so thats what we did this day. Sometimes you just end up riding and not thinking of the picture aspect of the ride. We left the house in Aweful traffic and fianally made it to the coast. Lots of bikes where out and we soon figured out it was “Hog Wild Weekend” ! Ha!! So heres our lone wolf parked amoung the Harleys at The Green Lantern pub. It hadnt gotten too packed so we got a table and had some dee licsh ous food!! Oh and I had opted for the factory hard bags prior to our trip to the airshow. 751E5213-8ED6-49D2-B4B9-78C1993A7BD2.jpeg E81D0172-6D0A-47F0-80A9-BEE61EA59480.jpeg Of course knowing we where going to the ocean I had loaded our mini chairs prior. After the pub it was down to the beach for some R&R and IPA’s !! Cheers!! 476FEAB9-6D29-4807-8C6A-1F1AADEE211C.jpeg 9CEFBEC6-5A9A-4172-BEA3-80D41051C93D.jpeg Well for now anyway thats about it. Sorry bout the lame picture selection, we’ll improve on that next time. You all ride safe!!

Just so you know all of this is not falling on deaf ears--
    1. I rode up the Beckler River last Friday. Never would have thought to do it if you hadn't mentioned it.
    2. Tacoma is twice the distance to Going-to-the-Sun as Reardan so once you move you'll have no excuse. If you go, I know the guy who owns this campground - Lake Five Resort - great place to stay near Glacier.

Haha!! I love your math and that does sound good!! We’ll be closer to lots of great riding as you well know. As far as Beckler...nice little gem we found by chance. One of these days it would be cool to hop in that river right where we park. Looks like a couple sweet pools down there. Of course it would have to be 95 outside!! Cheers!!

Ahhhh...back track a bit cause nothing happens fast when it comes to buying a home! So I believe we did at least 3 trips on the bikes to visit the new place. Always seems to be the best mode of transpo so off we would go. We had to. Its the place we had always hopped to find. 2420D491-3009-435B-803B-390AEF75F3E7.jpeg and its way over there! Just keep going..a little further! 86F51B26-A284-4AD8-968B-67B039D1FA93.jpeg Did I mention the Davenport motel became a home for a bit? Safeway right across the street and all. 7D20B41E-D0D2-475E-8771-6EA07347E911.jpeg Here we are! About 15 minutes north of here is where we now call home 2A84E950-5012-43AD-BE83-69044A1D2939.jpeg

So for us its a chance to see Some friends we only get to see once a year. Would hate to miss out on that. There is of course a thread on it every year so i'll just post up a few pics here. Always alot of fun and some really great characters! 680D7595-0789-4BA3-A72C-65598B7CAE97.jpeg 083ABD78-68EE-42A9-9E58-11ACB62F43B9.jpeg 7483CD28-AD77-42C3-9F13-AE478FB219A9.jpeg Here we are actually leaving on the last day. Erik and Honey Bunny, glad to see you posting again. Congratulations on your new house, and best of all on the correct side of the state for sanity. Looking forward to reading more, and meeting you on the road someday. Ride well, be well.

Moving eh? Yep we are back qson that subject. Sorry motos you'll have to stand by, you'll be happier in the long run anyway.
So check this poster I made in Sept of 2018. At that time just a dream, kids mighta thought a joke? Who knows but it hung in our kitchen for just over a year and i'll be damn if it didnt come true!! You can see dates on there for various comments, lots of ups and downs during this time. Of course we wanted to move but was I even ready? HELL NOOO!! 1228C860-B7C4-441C-A37C-F44122001DC7.jpeg Cant move if you need to put one of these in something. First you need to remove from a donor truck and strip it to long block form then reassemble with all new gaskets. Cant have an oil leaking pig or not know whats inside? Damn right! Thanks to @Mr Fisherman who came up and lent me a hand with the swap. 46F43AF4-CF1E-49A0-B18C-3E5013FEE96B.jpeg And of course the truck to put it in. Might as well get busy building this too cause you aint hauling shit without a work horse. Its a sweet truck now bit didnt start that way. The list is huge of what all I had done... son of a beeaatch! 029EFEF8-DBCD-4145-8B8D-3773E9CE8C68.jpeg well you also needed to fix this thing up you had bought in 2004. New tires, Lincoln rims(oldschool cool!), spare tire brackets with a couple spares with the old tires. Grease it up.. sheeeiiit! 86D3952D-72BE-4082-AB7D-739B12FB8E22.jpeg BTW..keep an eye on that dog kennel back there

So here we are!! Load up and go! Help once again from @MrFisherman. Truck was just finished. No major miles on it and we set off with the first full load. Crazy crazy but it kisked ass!! Wuuhooo! 49523D05-515B-40F3-B341-7D46C0199B80.jpeg the dog kennel? Haha! Yep it was the exact size as the deck and served as a nice enclosure for goods! And the freebie canopy that kept lawnmowers dry for years in our back yard now kept the "fragile" goods dry and fit like a glove! 0FC561BA-13EB-4F48-B8EC-ECEC7ABD6C14.jpeg Had to throw this one in there. Our first nights view from the master bedroom! Sweet! ED5D31FF-2F7B-474A-B37C-4896DFD1E68D.jpeg I got lucky! The timing was perfect!, I put in for a vacation knowing we where close to owning the place. Sure enough I got 21 days off beginning of Nov and allowed 2 trips with household goods! No shaving needed, just smiles and in this rare case cheap beer!! Haha!! FBF44AB5-FDC5-4D24-8A7E-4B5C685A8B8C.jpeg
