Hahaha!! You know it!! When you spend 3 days with him its bound to happen. Honeybunny too! Now he calls her “Stefunny”
Little run down on WETFEST. We wanted to just kick back and dig. Thats what we did. Lotsa beer and bacon. We did ride across Puget Island to check it out and rode around. Then stopped at the Roadkill bar and bs’d with them. Great couple! Should have done the ride they did Saturday in the backcountry though. Oh well next year! It was a nice and relaxing time and awesome to meet everyone from down there. Cheers!
The owners of Roadkill Bar were very nice. Inside is like a museum and pretty much everything is for sale!
Well look what came in the mail at the end of Zeptember!! A brand new KIPMOTO Sherpa-X trailer.
A little of this....
some of that....
and you dialed yourself in one of these. Wuuuhoooo!!
Enter October 13th. South sound boys are having a day ride so perfect time to dry run the trailer. Olympia to Pacific beach via back roads. And as usual these boys dont mess around.
Well I suppose this is bound to happen with a blast furnace coming out the exhaust. Opps! Other than this the trailer was good to 103mph. Of couse you didnt hear that from me cause I aint one to gossip.
Well after we had lunch with the boys in Pacific beach we decided to part ways. They would blaze back and we toured down the coast towards Ocean Shores.
Stopped at one of our favs
then south down the beach further. Yes its salty and bad. Yes its a bit sketchy. But ohh so fun!
We ended up grabbing a hotel room instead of heading home. Good call!! Next morning slabbed it home. Great little short one.
With the blast furnace damge repaired and a heat shield installed it was time for a camp trip! October 21
Nice morning in Tacoma. Note: Touratech upper crash bars installed too
so initial packing went like this. Change will follow
And 85% of the time we go Stevens pass. Much better slab ride!
Hwy 2....Stevens pass to Leavenworth...ahhhh
And why Leavenworth? Well for us its only one thing. MEUNCHEN HAUS
Weekends the place is too packed almost. Weekdays are best. But there is always our moto parking spot right up front.
Best Bratwurst (choice of 10 types) and damn good beer! Proist!
Hwy 2 east after heading north outta Wenatchee.
yeah!! You can flat rip it up this canyon! Beautiful sweeping turns to the top. Just love this part
You guessed it! Spokane bound!
The beauty of NOTHING !
Coulee City doesnt have much. But this Grocery store is cool and we always stop under the shade tree.
And the locals are always talkative. This truck a fellow came over to look at the trailer and said in his draw..” hell thats pretty nice! You could load that up with beer and say F’ it and head up in the hills!” Oh boy..sure could! Hahahah!
Well well well! So a couple things taken care of for next year: tent you can stand in..chk, comfy lightweight cots to put pads on...chk, gear off of bike...chk, place for a chair i side tent...chk, ....uhhh huh!!
Got a few more packing ideas but so far so good!!
Well thats a wrap Cap!! All caught up! Bikes in the house for maintainance and farkles! Also keeping his German cousin company
got some bad boy tent poles so I can rig up a “bike port “ off the front of the tent
In the meantime....
Almost forgot!! ROCK ON!!! & CHEERS!!!
CANT WAIT TO MEET MORE OF YOU GREAT FOLKS! ERIC

Well we got out while the weather was good. HIghs in the mid 70’s so I went down and got tabs for the C14. We rode out to Leonard K’s BOAT HOUSE in the town of Allyn, WA.
Its one of our favorite places on a nice day cause one can sit right out here and enjoy the view.
Most excellent views!
Some of the best Halibut and Chowder around
