Our little cabin!! And it looks like we did use the led hanging lantern lights! C158A9EC-37D0-462D-BF88-6C4957C4F1E0.jpeg You can tell by the steam back there it cooled off pretty good. We hit the springs for awhile then slept good! The temp is soo nice in the springs that it would stay with you until you got back to our cabin and its sweet woodstove which we had going. 7F025CD4-6F02-4D87-B7DD-675FD7D56214.jpeg The following morning after sleeping like a log we got up early and took our coffee down to the springs. We were the only ones in there! B3278171-DE43-4A8D-B02D-50CEF613DA05.jpeg

Got to mention a couple things. After Wallace ID we did overnight in Alberton near the Patty creek rd. We stayed at the Rivers edge motel. And this little guy was hanging out on the rock when we parked bike at Loscha lodge. He just sat there, seemed injured but was gone when we came back out. Cheers!! How am I just now seeing this?? Was great meeting you two this summer. You will have to come back to the marina next summer and camp there and do some day rides around the area. Pretty sure I can get you a good price on a campsite. :thumb

Where the heck is Spokalhoma? I spent about 7 years in western WA. After reading this report I realize how much a I miss the PNW. It's only a two day drive from TorC and I will be making it next summer with my bike.

Alright so we left off getting aks spa treatment at Burgdorf. Haha! It is a sweet place because of the hotsprings we will say that!! And being there period is pretty damn cool. But it was time to make a “B” line for Enterprise and the Jamboree. “B” line? I dont think so..more like “S” line!! It seems that every road in Idaho is a twisty bad boy usually following a river too. We headed for McCall then the 55 to New Meadow and onto Council and Cambridge via the 95. Then came the 71 to Oxbow at Hells Canyon. You see the warning signs not allowing semi trucks to centure on this road. And for good reason!! Twist eeeeee!!! Oh how we were going to enjoy this days ride!!! Yay IDAHO !!!

Nothing. Went over a bridge where some folks were fishing and stopped and asked them. They asked where we were headed and I told them. “ oh he said..going to take the 39?” Haha!! You know it!! But first we needed food so a quik jaunt down to Halfway! Yeah real quik cause you know were on the 1290 and it doesnt seem to go slow for some reason..hehe!!

Always fantastic to know of other couples doing the two up ADV thing! My wife and I started riding two up together 37 years and 300,000 miles ago - including 100,000 miles on a 1986 Kaw. Concours we bought new (50,000 of which with a sidecar on it and two kids riding along). Our ADV riding started on a Vstrom 1000, and quickly progressed to a KTM 990. Getting way off the beaten path on some mountain back road or two track is the all time best experience to have together! Keep on riding !

Well I tell ya...it was nice to get the bike all unloaded and switched over to just the soft paniers. Started getting camp setup and just enjoyed being put and knowing we would for a few days. 80D13585-9DFE-4BE4-B27A-0121ADD1643F.jpeg ECBEC4D0-FEE6-48D4-AC02-C016F1A461D6.jpeg For some reason the bike looks way to clean? 9A4A9D6E-BEE5-42FD-966A-D0816AD9B46F.jpeg Our little tent! Later on in our Adventure future we are going to change that but its all a big learning curve from bike loading to what one really wants or can do. 2D3E8D19-9421-437E-BD6E-4507991E84A1.jpeg Things were pretty quiet as we had arrived a day early.

So on Thursday it was planned that @sorebutt and @Mtnseker would lead a ride from camp to meet up with riders coming to the Jamboree in Asotin WA via the awesome Rattlesnack grade (hwy 3) then ride backcountry all the way to camp. What a ride this would be!! And our first 2up long journey not loaded up! 5116FC79-8C03-4234-B913-3D3B1DF35F5D.jpeg FD44C682-3EE8-4CD6-9615-C970147B0377.jpeg A6CDB2C6-27AE-41C8-B0BD-FE6F2D7AB9D7.jpeg 119D0D91-595A-4D8F-965C-9C8BD3D12E86.jpeg
