As we were leaving Yellowstone we counted 120 cars in line to enter.
Thats right!! Forgot all about that line up going in!! Guys on Motorcycles too!! NO thanks!!
2 minutes per car x 120 cars divided by two booths = 2 hour wait
Good reason to get up early and hit the entrance before the mob.
Glad you did the math!
Good reason to skip it altogether.
Hey U 2, Very happy here to see that your continuing you’re thread. Keep going keep going! Wish ya’ll the best... J
Is this Skalkaho Falls?
It sure is!!
I went by it 4 times last summer when we were staying at Georgetown Lake.. that whole Pintlar.. Darby..Jackson ..Anaconda area is ADV heaven! Great
Nice RR, I live in BC and spend a lot of time in your area, enjoyed seeing your pics of places I have been, like you said stop and take the time I need to learn that. If you're ever up north in BC you are welcome to PM me I am sure we can find some entertaining rides for that big Katoom
Thanks alot!! I appreciate the offer!!
That was a very fun stretch of pavement! If only there were no cars haha
If I had a nickle for every time i've said that....
Just read this from the start, it's been worth not sleeping for! The enthusiasm you two have, and the fact you manage to convey it so genuinely through this RR, is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words!! Awesome! Cheers!
Hey! Great RR!! Ferry, Stevens, Pend Orielle, Okanagan, and Asotin Counties are my playground; Not to mention all of north Idaho and west Montana. The Palouse has to be reserved for residents of Eastern WA, however...;-)
We are planning a Glacier/Yellowstone/Tetons trip next early Sept including many of the roads your rode on the BOM https://trips.furkot.com/board/fvkPNL. My wife and I started 2up ADV-ing (?) on my Vstrom a few years back, but she's now moved on to a nice little CB500X of her own (and I've moved up to a nice little Africa Twin of my own). Sharing this passion of mine with my best friend and partner has been such a thrill! I don't really even like riding solo anymore, even if that means I end up on more paved twistys than BDRs. Seeing her take up this sport on her own has been amazing. Now she's the one pouring over Butler maps! What a dream. Hope we can meet up someday. I might have a few hidden Inland NW gems to share...
Sounds good!! Glad you liked the RR. I checked out your route you are proposing and will review it more tomorrow. Think I can help after last years BOM ride. Will definately keep in touch for a meet up! Cheers! ERIC
