So I really didnt take enough pictures to do this event justice. We met some really great people who made a difference in our trip and will so in the future. @Captain Salmon @LC1 @jjr66 @DRONE @Mr Dual Sport @thirsty 1 @HellsAlien There were many more too who we enjoyed talking with. Our first event and defianately not the last..its just to much fun! And I learned one must take the time to stop and take pictures!! Lots! Take the time and stop damnit! 1C32E580-A90F-41A1-8622-B6AF16A2325A.jpeg The day of the wonderful poker run 87106704-3884-4A65-A45A-2F1A0C0D0B64.jpeg Our new friend who rode back to camp with us! Just want to say a few things about the Jamboree. It was our first Advrider gathering and it definitely was fun. Ladybug did a great job putting it all together and it is sad that that was the last one. These two first pictures kind of say it all. Good bye! Our trips on the Rattlesnack grade 3 times wont be forgotten along with meeting people I had only known from this Blog. It is well worth it and the people are some of the best one can meet...just cant say it enough. 7A93EA8B-14F6-4EBC-ACB6-D6DAFBBA5496.jpeg DD0E3E58-AE84-4CA8-9AB9-3170C6CBE367.jpeg 0BAE1B7C-FB92-4FBE-BD80-7436F7DF9AAA.jpeg Her new friend from the brewery so many of us went to. EZE--You mentioned me in a post last night otherwise I'd never have seen this thread--don't usually read RR's. Spent my free time last night and today reading through the whole thread. Very entertaining. You prolly saw me hit "like" about 100 times! LOL Even found a pic back there a ways with me in it. :bmwrider

Half thinking now I should do a winter ride down to CA/AZ/NM maybe for the Death Valley Noobs rally and so I could ride some of those roads you found down there. Like up to that astronomical observatory.

Looking forward to you posting about this summer and fall because, you know.

My only complaint is that we need to hear more from @HoneyBunny -- she can spill on all the shitthat you're keeping from us! LOL Lemme know when you wanna go shopping for tents and I can meet you at REI and give you a 2nd opinion from a lifelong camper/hiker.

Well well well!! Why are we sooo happy? I’ll tell ya. The waether in Enterprise turned to crap and it was time to leave. There was a short window without rain so we packed up and headed NWish. Took the 204 over the Blue Mountains towards Walla Walla. Towards the top to our surprise it was snowing!! A balm eee 33degrees!! Ha!! And who did we see in route but @thirsty1 and his buddies headed off to do the OBDDR!! We stopped and said good bye then off to Walla Walla. 1EBAAB61-EE4F-47C6-BCB8-D393E917ADF7.jpeg We got fuel in town and asked the clerk at the gas station if he knew of any brew pubs. His reply in a accented fashion “I cant help you” . Real gruff too! Ok buddy!! So I walked outside and her was a skinny crack...and her friend sitting curb side. I asked her..she thought for a minute and said “yeah The BIG HOUSE BREW PUB” She was spot on!! Great place !! Food and beer hit the spot as we sat outside and enjoyed the welcoming sunshine!! Wuuuhooo!!

Then it was off to the Spokane area. Had a long ways to go but the Palouse has a beauty of its own!! Palouse Falls!! Had never been here and it was worth the extra effort it took to get here. Guess alot of people have died here lately which is sad. Reader board warning signs of cliffs inside make people aware before entering but one could see trails way to close to the edge!! Crazy! 2CF57236-2EB2-4DA2-9569-E2E357271424.jpeg 9E2F99C6-BA8C-4383-B663-BE9EE70D7D88.jpeg

We pushed hard after the falls and eventually made it to my Sisters in the Spokane area. Hate those long drawn out high mile days but they happen. It was June 12th I believe. What a ride it had been!! We spent some time with the family and took a breather. Cheers!! FB7AC128-3AC2-4E5E-93E6-9F7CB491769D.jpeg One of our favs near Spokane! Tim the owner is a cool cat!! The Jamboree may have ended however there will be another campout in 2020 - - - Different area and new things to see. :deal  :ricky

I suspect you have already been pointed toward this event but if not consider doing this: https://advrider.com/f/threads/2019-death-valley-noobs-rally-march-28-31.1345779/
NSFW does a great job and it looks like Jimmy Lewis is doing a class there.

Love the pic of the two of you at the Hells Canyon overlook!

Keep up the great report, I'm sure enjoying it.

June 15th and we are on the last segment of the trip! Off to the Sprintboat races in St John WA. First up a trip to Steptoe Butte!! F98CF37E-0B52-48AB-B697-D4FA5133D465.jpeg Just an absolutely amazing place out in the middle of nowhere. Guess its made out of Quartzite. Haha!! The fact that this big lump lasted here all the millions of years is just incredible. I have heard that years ago there was a hotel up here too but burned down. 48557092-80CC-4DE6-80A9-C13219182E10.jpeg FF075165-5F89-492D-8FD0-C3661E4A993C.jpeg 5E11A896-635D-4964-A221-44B010A9BDA4.jpeg

We rode from Steptoe to St John and grabbed a bit to eat in town. The town was gearing up for the Friday “show and shine” for all the sprintboat teams. Here we are at “WEBBS slough”. Its a must see event if you love the sounds of high octane V-8 14ft jet boats ripping it up! Its a timed event with one boat on the course at a time. Just a total rush!! 30664B5D-9ACE-4CBD-916B-79F430BF492A.jpeg The terraced viewing area is one of the best! Off in the distance you can see the hundreds of RV’s that show up for this event. 2C9D279F-53B1-401A-B837-469B907826CA.jpeg Heres our camp setup. You always have to be ready for rain! Lol! We have a great group of friends we met up with who bring their RV’s. Some from Tacoma area and some from Spokane. Always a great time!! Ahhh the ol beergarden!! We finish up the event here for the final rounds. Just a hoot because by now you’ e got all the drunks to watch besides the quik runs on the course. We spend one final night here and the next day take all backroads towards Yakima. This ends up being one of the most enjoyable rides west that we had done. 1115470A-23CC-4F08-840F-3555C8DB8DD2.jpeg

We make our way west, stop for lunch in Yakima then take Chinook pass over the mountains. Here we stop and check on a buddies cabin off of hwy 410 near Crystal Springs. 1C457E8A-BB45-4BBB-809F-9C7746706005.jpeg And the final mileage! June 20th! June 23rd..... CC2370B2-85C0-4991-B756-8F027ED8C6CE.jpeg here I am riding up to Marysville. The rear shock took a beating! I really dont know why it started to seap a bit o oil, but it did. Ha! Well to make a long story short it didnt get fixed. Yes its under warranty but where I bought it pretty much sucks. I’ll get back to the shock story way later. The bike, the trip and most of the people were awesome!! We are hooked and being able to do what we do is priceless! Luckily my work schedule of being week on week off along with good vacations has allowed us to really enjoy all of this. Appreciate you following along and it feels good to share. Thanks to all our ADV friends and internet buds who have made it a blast! Alright enough blabbing away...lets get back to riding etc. cheers!

So with the KTM in the shop it was time for a trip on the C14. Allyn WA . One of the best places to get Halibut and chips is Leonard K’s Boathouse. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the views of Hood Canal. I rode up to the door and asked if they had “banana” flavor? Banana you ask? Well Sweetie has had a hankering for it and can never find it!! Well as you can see today was her lucky day!!! 6515343E-8DD4-4057-8477-242FC75E8D5A.jpeg
