12:58 Kevin Benavides done for today
Kevin Benavides has wrapped up today's special 6'35' behind teammate Joan Barreda. Give or take a few seconds, this is the same time the Argentinian biker spent trying to help Paulo Gonçalves, so it will be deducted from his time this evening. As a result, the stage win is still up in the air
Toby and and Svitko are still out on the special stage and riding together.
I noticed the 2 HERO riders didn't continue on past the crash - understandably.
As he said in the last bit of the movie i posted.
"Never Give Up Guys"
So is Toby riding in the dark ? Just thinking of him all alone in the night. Do the road books etc all have backlights etc?
This guy was f5cken tuff. I will miss you Paulo.

and Kemal Merkitt.
Still 4 1/2 hours of daylight in KSA - he has plenty of time.
There are three other Hero riders and #050 CS Santosch is at WP8.
We shouldn't jump to conclusions.
I'm signing off for today... wishing a safe journey to all for the remainder...
catch you all in camp later...
Thoughts also with #27 Joaquim Rodrigues - Hero Motosports Team Rally. His sister married Paulo. He would have arrived at the scene maybe half an hour afterwards. He doesn't look to have gone on from there.
Ah fuck! Just read that about Gonc, godspeed!
Way back this year at work so not able to keep up at all only reading every 2nd age. I miss you guys!
Alright everybody, I'm back to work tomorrow. Off to bed. Stay safe.
The race will go on tomorrow, so will we. We all die, live your best life.
