I'll be heading down to Peru this year to watch, wrench and support some friends. We'll see how much I can update here, as I found from my first time down there that it was easier to keep track of the race from your monitor at home than actually being right in the middle of it! :lol3

I'm really excited that the Dakar is so close, unfortunately not racing it but prepped a few bikes for friends that are taking part in the Malles Moto class. Yesterday finished building 2 Beta RR 430cc that now are currently on the road for Le Havre :)

@manuellucchese What's the fuel capacity and range of that Beta?
If that's OEM upper chain guard (last image), I can guarantee that it's going to break easily.

Just home in UK after a brief 1 day trip to Le Havre, France, to view the scrutineering & loading of the race vehicles, assistance, support & press vehicles for Dakar 2019 in Peru.
A very cold and chilly day on the port warehouse complex, as usual, but plenty to see & hear with the teams, and even some bike pilots there as well.
Here are a few pre-Dakar taster pics to keep you inmates fed until the New Year:

I suspect that the "list" is (considerably) shorter than previous years... maybe the reason why not so much hoopla from ASO as to entry numbers, accepted riders etc. beforehand ? There's been far less pre-event hype this year.

On November 6th was a press release with some details but no list since. At least we know, malle moto numbers are printed on red background, like the "67" from above.
