F650GS twin: too small for a 6'3" 190# guy? (and other ??s)

    i have a 650 and if you think the 8 is a bit tall i'd buy the 650 and spend a couple bucks getting the suspension set up for you--you'll have a better fit and save a couple bucks in the end!!!

    I am 6'3" 195lbs and the 800gs is perfect with the tall seat option. as a noob the bike is a little on the tall side and you might opt to adjust the preload to it lowest setting allowing you to reach the ground a bit easier. as far as the 21" tire goes, forget about it being a problem, this bike in the right hands would give the sportbikes a run for their "yen" in the twisties:rofl This is a bike that you could ride around the world, commute to work, tear up the back country on the weekends. Probably one of the finest all around bikes I have ever ridden. good luck with the purchase!!
