Got the bike 700 Mi on the odometer, Battle wings, they set the standard for my expectations on a first motorcycle. First impression is great starter motorcycle tires felt good ( maintained factory recommended pressure with air)... had the motorcycle in for service (6k) and headed home saw commotion in the median and looked away BOOM rear blow out ! Damn ... Dealership offers up Annakee 3 For a good price ran them for the life (18k) ... Mostly on nitrogen and one psi over... Now they are on the wear bars I chose to lower pressure and the tires are better 1 psi below the grip and sound is better . New tires are ordered Conti trail 3 ...
I've installed a 2nd set of the Anakee 3s, no regrets from the 1st set. Odd wear though: Both sides of the front tire were worn out long before the rear or even the center strip on the front tire. I do ride some wonderful roads at a brisk pace and also quite a bit of off-pavement, dirt roads, but I've never worn a front out first, nor on the sides before the center. How did your Anakee tires wear?
