The “merged threadfest” is becoming a clusterfest and I believe that we need some threads that are more specific. So I thought that I would start a thread that’s more specific, and this one on accessories. To start I figured that I would share what I’ve been doing to my F850GS since I bought the bike a couple months ago. I know that parts are just trickling in and sometimes unavailable but I was lucky enough and persistent enough to get the stuff that I need and want to make the bike mine. Maybe it will give people some ideas. Maybe not. One photo below is just another shot of what everybody’s bike looks like when just off the showroom floor and the second photo is what it looks like today. I have Pivot Pegz and a Touratech rear brake pedal enlarger on the way otherwise I have the bike pretty much set up how I like it. I'll follow up with some photos of the accessories.
I hope that I'm not overdoing it here but I'm home sick and needed something to do.

Touratech panniers and racks. I have the 31 and 38 liter cases on in this photo.

MRA windscreen. I am totally happy with this item. It has completely eliminated helmet buffeting while still being a decent looking screen. Got it from Twisted Throttle.

Denali Soundbomb mini horn. Way louder than stock, inexpensive and fits in the original location. Don't remember where I bought it but try Google for a source.

Barkbuster VPS handguards. I put these on every GS that I’ve owned. They fit great and easy to install.
Ram mirror stalk mount. Simple but effective. Got them from Twisted Throttle.

Rox 1-1/2” Barbacks. Totally eliminated my neck and upper back pain. Help when standing. Provide extra clearance between the Barkbusters and TFT and windshield. Got mine from Revzilla.

Cockpit shots show the relocated GPS mount and how the barbacks, barkbusters, MRA windshield, , etc all fit together. The mount is from Motorrard in Dresden in Germany. And those blind spot mirrors are worth their weight in gold (got them on Amazon).

Giant Loop Fandango. Perfect size, clears the bars even with Barbacks. Doesn’t get in the way when standing. Unzipping it every time I gas up is a PITA but it's a well made bag and the perfect size for my needs. Bought it from Revzilla but it shipped directly from Giant Loop.

Remus mid pipe to eliminate the resonator. Much louder than stock but it eliminates that awful, ugly box.

Touratech upper guards and BMW led auxiliary lights. The guards were very difficult to install. I actually had to have the dealer install them.

Touratech skid plate. Nice mounting system, well made, but really should be taller in front to protect the exhaust pipes. I should have gone with something like the Black Dog skid plate.

And a few other items. Touratech sidestand foot, Anakee Adventure tires, and last, but not least, my buddy Mader.

I've added Machine Art Moto hand guards, Puig short levers, Black Dog skid plate and welded on some extra sidestand foot. Also did the same ROX risers.

A larger side stand base and a better windshield are first on my list for my new 750.

Anybody make true two finger levers for the fifties yet? Something you can truly pull with two fingers to the handle bar without as much as a hint of pinching the third finger?
