WTF are they so expensive ? The BMW ones must be lined with unicorn fur but I note than other after-market bags aren't exactly cheap either. Recommendations or at least an explanation why they cost so many $ ?

    Craigslist?
The companies charge what ppl are willing to pay.
Maybe if we ALL banded together and refused to pay more than, say $90?

I used to have a large 14L bag and it was simply too large - and you couldn't stand worth a darn either. I've "graduated" to a much smaller 8L bag. Both Tusk and Wolfman make similar shape 8L bags. The Wolfman is about $190 while the Tusk is $90 from RMATVMC. I went the Tusk route just before doing the WABDR this month and absolutely LOVED this bag. The organization on the inside was superb with little elastic holder spots and a divider. Can't say enough good about it.

Yep - you found it. The Olympus. The small is 6L. Mine is the larger one at 8L. I have a 6L Wolfman for my WR250R and that's fine for a shorter trip and a smaller bike, but the 2L difference really did make a big difference for me.

Thanks Bob. I saw your pic of the 8 l on the 850, and I might just go for the smaller one on my 850.
