    Just got my previously bare aluminum parts back from Central Jersey powdercoat. (No affiliation) They did a great job and only took a day. nice work JON!!:clap

    Great looking mod, are those the Givi crash bars that you have on the bike? Do you feel that they will protect the radiator, looks like they would.

    Yep Givi crashbars.
    I'm hoping so...The bars stick out a fair bit, depends on the terrain and the way the handle bars land, along with the rest of your shit.

    i put 25k miles on an raw aluminum bash plate in the same position and it showed some character. polyurethane is harder and the contrast will look better :wink:

    yea, i know, dam! too much waiting for the bike an not enough riding time. but i figure i want this thing crashworthy before I go to the moon.. at least my next CC with Rudy (hello Alaska).... but I 'm not in 1st place, the dutchman has me beat with just a bit of his bike showin:clap
