Long story short, cam chain tensioner wont come out.

Few days ago, spark plugs & valve adjustment on f800gs 2012 was done by local mechanic, ride to home was ok (2-3km from him) but next day after first start i was presently surprised by cam chain rattle.

First suspect is cam tensioner (and only ?), ok, call bmw, order, pay ... got new part. I guess my pleasant voice convince him to problem solve at my place.

    Tensioner part:

Bolt and short spring are removed without any issues, but rode that create tension is stuck. He was able to remove inner part with longer spring, but outer shaft doesnt give any movement.

    What to do next?
How to remove outer part of tensioner?
What can create this kind of situation & and what parts to inspect for additional damage?

My part of the blame is not having tools at new place.

So I have 2012 as well checked my spare head bore is smooth so if piston stuck pop the top of the valve cover look at chain and guides I am assuming it ran fine before ?

The suction can hold it in a little sometimes. A tool with a little hook on it can be used to grab that small hole you see above ^^^ and pull
