    ^nice!

    ---

So I hate the shinyness of my twobros pipe. Doesn't fit the bikes blue and black look one bit, IMO.

I was thinking of throwing some exhaust wrap around it, and replacing as it gets weathered enough. Any other ideas? Wasn't looking so much at paint in case I wanted to sell the pipe one day.

    Thanks.

OK i have searched my Ass off with no luck!

I have a BMW Aluminium Bash plate fitted and want to install after-market headers to the bike.
I seem to remember someone posting modification needed and if it can be done, so if you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

It goes without saying that mine was modded, but being made of CF, that is not what you were looking for. One inmate from either Island, or Finland, wrote up what he did to his bash plate as he put on arrow headers. Not sure where though.

Just stuck the carbon version of this on both of our GS'. Sounds REALLY good. The local dealer said it sounds better than the Akra they pushed lol. Only bad part is I don't see a spark arrestor available at all for this :cry

Hope the cat is enough, and we can never upgrade to the catless headers. :cry

Mivv Oval Carbon Fiber Can. Looks, fits, sounds great and decently priced! Fits with the HOLAN symmetrical rack.

I just installed a Danmoto Carbon GP on my GSA. Super light and inexpensive, don't know yet if it's cheap. Definitely changes the sound and volume of the bike, I can feel the different on the weight as well. I did an install video it's not great but here's the link:

Let me know how it sounds on the highway. I really dont want to increase the drone at 80mph. But great video! Hope it works out for you. I might pick one up next month.

I got the Full remus system mounted on mine. Picked up the system off a fellow inmate for 700$. Had to cut some metal off the stock F800GSA crash bars to get them to fit. Fits just fine with the BDCW skid plate for the f800GSA.
Sounds like a unrestricted twin now. Pops here and there. I also stuck on the AF-XIED to richen up the fuel mix. Runs way better then t did before. Almost keeps up with the 1200s

Just got a TwoBros for my 658, not a fan of the shinyness either but it was too good a deal to pass (eBay). I had one on my 650 (single) and ended up painting it flat black, looked much nicer, I'll do the same with this one soon.

BTW, the Two Bros is much lighter than stock! I weighted both and stock is 4.9 KG and two bros is 2.25, woo hoo!

Just ordered a Termignoni for my 2013 F800GS. Can't wait to get it mounted up and hear it. Anyone on here running one?

Sounds great on an F800R. Listen with headphones.

stupid question for everyone. I have always been under the impression that using a more open exhaust would make the bike run leaner, so does the computer compensate enough for this or do we have to run the afxid?

rule of thumb, your computer is going to learn and compensate for almost everything. So yeah even stuff like the Accelerator module that makes it run leaner will be shut off after some time by the computer's brain.

Thinking it's time for the cat delete project. Per this thread, many of you have done so, any negative issues to report? Any pics of your cat delete finished product would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.
BTW- SWMBO says lack of farkle credits will not cover full Remus replacement. (Yet..)

The bike will lose some low-down torque and gain peak horsepower. I also like the midrange transition better without the cat, it feels more lively.

Thanks for the input. I found a stock unit(off a parts bike) for less than fabrication costs. It's straight and in better shape than mine.
