Yep, according to BMW. I am gonna rotate them up a bit (alond with the levers for cold weather) and plan to use the wunderlich quick adjust bar rachet for offroad to point the guards and levers down for better standing ergos.

A bit off topic but curious as to your thoughts on your gps mounting. Been trying to think of a good way to do that and haven't thought of what you came up with.

And back on topic do the handgaurds block most of the wind? I'm thinking about riding my bike this winter and blocking the cold wind would be nice.

    ok
Zumo is left hand operated so i put it as close as possible to my left hand. I also have bar risers and did not want to block the clocks with the gps.mI slo plan on using the wunderlich bar adjusters so I need the bar clamps clear.

The bmw hand gaurds don't seem the best for blocking the wind but sure are strong. I will turn them up a bit on the bars to block more wind and then just freeze my thumbs off :lol3

Damn Jesse, Touratech must love you. I spotted several items from them on there. Does that front brake res. cover help the bobble-head effect at all? And, thanks for those pics. I called a dealer today for those exact hand guards. Althought they were unaware of the metal reinforcement. At under $100 for them with the extra spoiler they are less than the barkbusters.

    :huh

I think I paid 200 for the BMW walletbusters

BTW its 3 pieces, the metal hand guards, the spoiler and the plastic guards. Ya need a drill to add the spoilers

I put together a setup w/ Acerbis rally pros w/ Cycra mounts.
Price was right and the fit is good. I have to do a little more tweaking (Budweiser) and they will be B+.
I will post a photo when they are finished.

    Hey jessehere,
    I really like your setup.
Got a pic of the whole bike straight-on from the side?
    What's the solar panels for?
I didn't like the look of the silver in pics and only saw the yellow in person,
    so went with yellow.
    yours looks kewl, though.
I'm waiting on BMW handguards from my dealer (just to stay on subject)

Gulf Coast BMW in Ft Myers, Florida had one. I declined it when I bought the bike. They don't have a lot of GS riders in that area. Give them a try.

Not a straight bolt-on. You need to get the pro-taper mounts, and you have to drill and tap the center of your bar end bolts to 8x1.25 mm. You also have to do a bit of creative bending. But, they were cheap, and available, and different.

Great weather and wind protection. I am happy with how they look and function.
