Does anyone have a pic of a sw motech City bag on a f650gs?

    Here is the scoop:
I have a 2010 f650gs with the evo tank ring. I picked up a used sw motech Trial bag... no way it would fit. When I look on SW's web site, they only list the Daypack or Micro.

Yet for an 800, SW also lists a GS and City bag. Not listed is an Engage, but obviously fits as shown by pics posted here.

I did find some posts by inmates saying they have City bags...unfortunately no pics. Before placing my order, I would really like to see one on a 650. Is there an difference for years of bike?

Any help out there in Advrider land?

I'm gonna need a new bag soon....
    Key requirements:
nice map pocket for the spiral bound map books
    built-in water bladder ....

I know Mosko Moto makes one .... who else should I be reviewing?
The MM is a bit spendy

    Thanks!

What? No inmates with a SW Motech (bag connection) City or Engage tank bag on a F650gs?

Or does anyone care to guess why SW Motech lists the City bag for the 800 and not 650. Is their and difference in the configuration of the bikes. All I can guess at is shorter/lower bars...would that affect the tank bag?

How do you like your ammo can toolbox? I've thought about doing the same. just didn't know if it would be too big and heavy. going to buy a black dog skid plate before too long. just thinking of ideas.

    Thanks

Just chiming in on bashplate mount toolbox.
I have the BMW/Touratech bashplate and picked up one of the "matching" TouraTech toolboxes 2nd-hand at a good price.

I like it because it puts the weight low and forward on the bike.
I don't like the fact that it sticks down in the front below the bottom of the bash plate and reduces ground clearance a bit.....
Seems like if the bottom of the box was cut off at an angle so as to be flush with the bottom of the bashplate...
OR angled UP a bit to help ride over crap it would be a better deal....

with the ammo you could mount it up a bit higher, and if you had a welder-savant buddy they could re-do the bottom of the box.........

    just babbling out loud here..

IMG_6253.jpg I use the tour tech pure tank bag, good size not too tall, doesn't get in the way when I'm up on the pegs. I use a waterproof cover in heavy rain but it seems pretty good in light rain.
