@fekkinell and I took on Barry way & McKillops Bridge, Australia over xmas
Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing, ice racing, ice skating, skiing, sledding. All those great winter sports!
way cool! My 2018 1200 has cruise (and honestly one of the most fun bikes I have ever owned) but I would love an excuse to sale it and buy an 850!!!
A little loop today. The whole point was to get out for a bit, and stick to back roads. So I did the loop clockwise, starting in Pacific Grove, over to River Road which winds through farmlands and wineries, then to Gonzales, and back home via Carmel Valley Road. I got a few drops of rain now and then heading south on River Road, which turned into a steady, light rain in Carmel Valley. I couldn't have cared less that I got a little damp, because it was just nice to get out and ride.
Made a short stop at Mission Nuestra Señora de la Soledad.
Then ran across some cows at the far end of Carmel Valley, where the road starts heading downhill into the valley. A pig among cows.
A look back from the far end of Carmel Valley, looking almost due East.
I used to ride that! Go a little south to Nacimiento Rd. Great ride also
Not mine, but my wife's... went from KTM 390 to RnineT to 850GS. We can finally do some real touring.
I have a forest 20 minutes from home, great for a quick blast on the 750GS
Here's my '19 F850 GSA at the GSL (Great Salt Lake).
Recent trip to Nelson on the South Island New Zealand for a few days away . Bumped into the marshalls for BMW GS Trophy 2020 on the ferry over.
It was a ridiculously warm (73°!!!) afternoon for February. Figured I’d be a fool if I didn’t take adavantage of it and ride out to the coast. Nicasio-Marshall-Point Reyes
Picking up my new bike in a few days.
Went from a 2017 Africa Twin to a 2019 850GSA. Was intending to buy an 850GS in the dark green color but this was parked next to it and seeing this color in person changed my mind instantly.
Please excuse the file photo, mine was indoors and it was crowded inside.
Very nice , reminded of me when i first brought my GS. Did a trip around Tasmania on a FZ800 ( Yes a FZ800 ) when i got back went straight to the shop and brought a GS. That was in late 2016. never looked back
Congratulations! I did the same thing; they are both great looking.
I decided to take care of an issue with my 800 GS. Everytime I ride in the mud I get alot of crap built up around the oil filter and cooler area.
I've had small rocks lodged down in there
I decided to fab up a shield to block off that area. Used some aluminum I had in my garage.
Doesn't look to bad - a little paint and it will blend in just fine. Might have to add a little venting but that will be for another time.
looks good. I would monitor the temp gauge / or at least if the fan is coming on earlier... but then again i wouldn't know what triggers the fan. Water temperature. Lunch!
or engine temp. Does any one know?
Went a little too high a little too early and found all the ice.
Hey, you're over here too!? I saw these pics on TW too haha.
Hey, new F700 owner here. Taking it home from Santa Fe BMW tomorrow. My husband (Trailwerks) is giving me a hard time. He says the BMW will swerve...into every Starbucks parking lot. Tell me it isn't true. Do I have to retrain it to going into microbreweries?
I see a bike lying on its side on those expensive hard bags. How did those hold up ? I'm afeared of hurting my Vario bags. I'm used to softbags (Wolfman, Mosko Moto) that don't mind an occasional encounter of the horizontal kind.
2017 KTM 350exc
BMW F700 gs
Now isn't my 2015 the snappiest ever stock paint job?
Very nice color combo. Nice MRA Vario screen too. I like mine. You got a super clean bike. How many miles?
Huge inventory on their website. Did you happen to look at their F900XR?
