Joined the club with this 2013 model. Downsizing from the mighty 1150. Ergonomics and weight remind me of the ktm 950 I had (between the two 2001 1150GSs.) Let's just hope it's easier to wrench.

Need some TLC. Bent front rim and I think it's due for a service.
I'll have to read up on how to reset the service light and what all needs to be done for a 24k service. Air filter is pretty clean, oil looks old. And the brake fluid needs a bleeding.

Back to a BMW after a few different makes. I was going for a 1200 but then found this beauty, 2008, an early bike, one owner and mint condition. A bit lighter than a 1200, easier to get in and out the garage. But enough go for my needs.

Bought her in September after deployment---Finally got her broke in! Alaska get about 3-4 months of riding so I'll be taking advantage. She replaced my trusty 2010 F800GS. IMG_0379.jpg IMG_1366.jpg

Fantastic! I have a 2010 F800GS and love it. Someday the 850 may take her place, but not yet. Interested in your comparisons, aside from the electronic additions.

Yup I live just outside of Williamsport, I took that picture 10 minutes from my house. I am very lucky to have tons of back roads to ride on. Josh at Tyrone BMW/Kissells is outstanding, I have bought five motorcycles from him , best dealership around.

Ha! it sure is, two of those would be more than enough horsepower to get anything done :-)

@Pipeman Ya Josh is first class. I live about 175 miles from Kissell but I think this is where I will be doing all my BMW business in the future. Besides it is a nice ride out there taking all the back roads. 45 to 11 to 93 is the route I took and was real nice ride home.
