Out with my brother. Getting used to big bikes. I really need to research some better options to improve the feel of the rear brake when standing.
Old 105 in North Carolina
They do sell add-on risers. A common one is offset, so you can use the high side for standing and the low side for sitting. Looks like the ticket for off road.
saw those. Not too thrilled that the pedal sticks out that much more and it’s not just a riser. Because the bike is being ridden more than just to Starbucks, I know that I’ll be letting it have the occasional nap and I do not want an unhinged brake lever protruding.
As this is a photo thread - more from today:
What's that saying about a clean GS?
Out exploring some local back lanes for a few hours, giving the girl a run. love how composed this bike is, even on greasy lanes, give her a bit of head, and she’ll sort herself out
Cruised some farm roads around the Palouse in eastern WA. Just about harvest time.
What fairing is that?
Puig. Not a fan of the looks but I am a fan of the performance.
Got into a bit of mud yesterday, ended up in some pretty steep washouts and was very impressed with the shinko 805 even though it's pretty well toast.
New to me 2013 700gs.
I've actually since changed it up a bit. I went back to the stock windscreen, but added a Touratech Evo spoiler. It's quieter than both the stock and Puig, and there's no buffeting.
