My F700 :3
Hi, do you have a side view to see how high the BMW has become?
Thanks looks great. Is it still the original side stand?
Yes it is, leans over really far, So I'm going to get it extended about 1.5". I took the center stand off because it would clank really loud when I was riding offroad, drove me crazy. So I'll have to get that extended too someday.
The bike in Scottish moorland with purple heather.
@CJMCB what windscreen is that?
It’s the Givi Adventure with part no: GIV-D5127S. It’s pretty good at keeping most wind blast off. It was about £80 from Nippy Normans.
My 2017 800GSA, has just under 40,000 miles on it - Two XLADV Events, and two GEICO Adventure Rallies.
March 1, 2021. +11 degrees C.

I got new tires today! Anakee Adventures
I was told they perform very well on road and off road is okay as long as it's not muddy
Had a cold weekend in Moab, but still got out and did a few rides. This is from Hurrah Pass
I decided last week to retire so, in an effort to maximize motorcycling enjoyment while minimizing expenses, I am going to sell my Husqvarna road machine and keep the F800GS
The F800GS is heavier, older, has way more miles, and does not handle twisty roads as well but it recently had a major service from the dealer, it has a new fuel pump, new tires, new Sargent seat, and a new can (Yosh)
And who knows, maybe one day I will start to like that sort-of-green color . . . (ha) . . .
Just thought I'd share the good news!
Ride safe, ride often, ATGATT! :)
Morning Coffee on the trail
Well, it looks like I'm joining the crowd here very soon. I found a good deal on a 2014 F800 GSA with 28.8k miles and the owner had the 30k service completed. I'll fly over to Texas and ride it home sometime a few days from now. I look forward to doing more varied adv rides including some BDRs now that my shoulder is healed up from an accident a few years ago. Here are a few pics from the ad.
