Looks like I’ll be joining the crew!
Heading to so cal to pick this 14 up. Gonna be a long ride home though. Wish I had time to stop and smell the dirt along the way! Skid plate is first thing in order!!

    For a 2009 f800gs

shinko 705 with larger (2x) groove
+ the bottom of that groove is almost square, not the original V shape.

Here's my new 2021 F750GS, loaded for a road trip with Vario bags (off my R1200GS), Softbag 2 and SW Motech tank bag. Great bike but that windscreen, hmmm..

I picked up my bike last week and went down to Terlingua, Texas and Big Bend National Park. 1500+ miles later I was home. Good times.

Perfect! Is that 18" or 20? Did you need bar risers with the reduced wind pressure?

    • 2 Questions:
      • How often do y'all adjust your chain?
      • On a scale of 1 to 5, how hard do you ride (1 is incredibly mild, 5 is 100% pedal to the metal)
I realize new chains stretch, but when most of the "early stretch" is done, how often do you need to adjust your chain and, generally speaking, how hard do you ride?

    Thank you!

Crappy picture, but just picked up this 2009 F800GS today. Lot's of good upgrades, and super clean.

Hi friends, joining the GS gang finally. Brought this one home a couple weeks ago. It’s still pretty unmolested, but parts are in the mail already.
