Let me join the club as well! Took the whole two days of hauling to bring this boy from Idaho to Washington.
Trying hard to get some riding in in Vermont.
So rode to the marina to summarize boat.
It’s the little things
I had the Givi AirFlow on my 2013 F700GS and to be hones it was the best screen I had had on any of my bikes. It looked ugly but worked well.
Very nice, konoplia
Put some MotoZ Tractionator tires on my 800 went for a ride, the front tire really holds well on dirt. I little squishy on the pavement. but more than a fair trade off.
And I have to include a picture of the area above Rifle, CO.
Thank you !
My new bike is home.
Final drive failure?
Uhhh, wait. Huh?
How the hell do you lose all six nuts? Did you change the sprocket and put them on finger tight or something? The bolts don't look sheared.
Looks like they were in such a hurry to get back and riding they forgot all about the sprocket
I have no idea how this happened. I had just cleaned and lubricated the chain a couple of days before, and everything looked fine then. I’m waiting on parts now to replace the sprocket hub and it’s associated bearing, seal, spacers, and bolts. The chain and sprockets are probably fine, but I am going to replace them anyway, just in case.
Six nuts don’t spin off by accident. Could someone have tampered with it?
Maybe, but it’s not like that’s something that would be easy to do un-noticed. This bike stays in a garage overnight.
Was there recent maintenance? Just wracking my brains - - trying to figure out an explanation for where all six nuts could have gone??
