Cool! I likes um. I'm sitting here with my SO trying to figure out my next four months schedule. So many places to go and only so much time. I still haven't dumped my camera from the road trip I just got home from. Hopefully, I will get to Chain's. It's only 300 miles and a fun weekend. I have a new GPS to try out. I ended up as navigator for six other riders in the spring when we got separated and I was the only one with a GPS. See you then.

It's secret shit for Chaingolians only.

Well, not THAT secret. Chain has a farm in Illinois with a great place to camp and ride around and ride out from. We show up, drink beer, eat, ride, etc, pack up and ride home. Oh, yeah, don't forget tell lies to each other and fart some. If you are interested in going, see the thread about a fall ride elsewhere in this forum.

motojoe will handle creek tours from 9-12 then a few tips on packing lite
vstromrunner holds fitness and training at 6am sharp bring your tennies
Bigdog will explain the effects of methane gas in a closed environment
The fist will offer advice on proper trailer techniques and how to pack every camping item youve ever owned into a mini suv

Hey chain - give me an address and some directions information and I will put up a quick page on my site for info and meet and rides.

I can try to host the GPS info too, but someone will have to hold my had through that one. I gots me no fancy schmancy GPS yet.

I just moved my site to a new host and I have more room.

Thanks for the offer Mutineer, :thumb but Im gonna decline
Ill leave this as the source for info, last ride we had about 25 bikes and that was pretty manageable dont want to see this turn into Sturgis :puke1

Ill keep you posted, if you wanna bring riding buddies thats fine by me. Im working on route waypoints with Mark big dog sampson so as we get them Ill forward via pm I have a list now of about 35 potential riders.
We can get through the gps thing no problem, huh pilot? Im sure that there will be posts regarding this. IMHO groups of 4-5 riders seem to work well.

    cheers

cool - looks like I might be riding with MLAOTN from here but that is it so far.

    really looking forward to it.

Maybe a good reason to pop for a GPS, though the bike purchase pretty much used up my brownie points at home for the year :D

I'll try to "sneak-in" a trail run while down there for the weekend. There were a couple of other runners in the group, ie. bvkamp, misery goat, motojoe? Last time they all forgot the running shoes :)

Of course the priority will be bike ridin and sitting around the campfire!!
