You should probably give us your planned route. If you don't show up, one of us will come find you. You plan to make camp by Friday?

Bruno, dantroop, and I are heading up Friday am. Leaving San Ramon 9:30. I don't think we will be doddling. Probably at camp by 1 or 2.

All of the creek crossings in that area are bridges, except Alder Creek which has one of those concrete aprons which runs through the creek and will only have a couple of inches on it, if any at all.

edit: I forgot, there is one other water crossing, right before you get to the Morrisson cabins where the water pools up but you can pick a line to the downstream side that is only a few inches deep and the bottom is smooth without anything that will bring you to a sudden stop.

Reach home late yesterday and I just woke up. It's probably too late to start now. Well, there's always next time...

Damn. Missed out on the tequila.

Kimberly and I made it home just before dark on Saturday.

We had a great time chasing you guys around the countryside, but not camping meant we only got to talk to a few of you briefly at the stops. Hopefully next time we can devote the whole weekend to an event like this.

The fall colors were in all their glory, and got to see a lot of them on Monitor Pass as well as the Virginia Lakes area. When I get back to a desktop computer, I will try to post some of them.

That was wonderful. Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Due to a suicide pact between my GPS and computer, no pics or photos for a little while.

I had a good time. A great site, complete with flush toilets, showers and heated bath rooms. As far as I know no one crashed, but the bear did some bike damage.

Gillafunk is still out looking for more Fall Colors. Hwy 4 Foliage was more impressive on the return trip at a slower speed. Funks bike is pretty quick bike for a thumper. A hard guy to keep up with.

Next year I will point out the Beaver ponds.
