    A couple more

Scott broke the new bike in gently:D

The lumber jacks had to do some tree harvesting to get us out of this one

Anyway, It took us about 2+ hours to go not very far, but we all made it out fine but tired for a late lunch with only one small broken bit on a bike, that makes it good day. After lunch Dorset for supplies and Troutspawn back to camp.

    Great meeting all you FF's.:freaky
Ian, thanks for letting me tag along on your ride. :hmmmmmCertainly confirmed my earlier decision that maybe riding with you might not be good for the health of my new bike .:zilla :knary:arg:p3rry:muutt<<< Dropped ever so gently.
Anyways all fellow riders were great.
    Thanks guys.

    todiscdn,

Are the series of pictures you posted from "Old wagon" to the "Troutspawn Lk" sign all taken on the Old Wagon Rd? If you have any others I'd appreciate seeing them and any other comments you might have regarding Old Wagon. It appears to be mostly a technical rated section.

    Thanks.

Only the first one is actually on Old wagon rd. itself, at a intersection closer to the north end. Old wagon is fine, just a rocky hilly "road" like most in the area, challenging enough, but mostly dry.

Somewhere near the south end(2/3-3/4 down??) we made a navigational error and turned off Old Wagon onto some local ATV trails and kept going far enough that we were commited(or should have been, lol) . If you get to that hunt camp you have turned off old wagon, so either turn around or prepare for a work out..

These were all taken in the same area as Sewerats dirty/sunken bike pic.s, I guess we just zigged when they zagged back in there somewhere, hard to believe but I think we picked the "easy" route. This was a dry year, if you look at Sewerat, Dyno,s and my pic.s I couldnt imagine it if it was a wet one

    Cheers, Todd

    Adam, great video!
My favorite part is the end! :thumb

Todd, Scott, and Dyno, from your pics i know exactly where u guys were. As the crow flies, no more than a km away most of the day :lol3 We coulda helped each other out by the looks of things, great pics :eek1
We were on the south side, and you guys were on the north side of Pine Springs rd, almost directly north and south. :freaky

I've got a bunch of video to post, gotta go through it all, but unfortunately my battery died before the knarly stuff, right after i sunk my bike to the seat.

I had an absolutely awesome time this wknd, and as i said to a few over the wknd, its always great getting together with people that you know you'll have a great time with every time! This is always by far the best ride of the year, no BS, just good ole fun! I rode with some guys that i haven't known or ridden with much, and cheers to everyone of you, it was great riding with you and it was a ride i will remember!

After all this, one major void, i felt deeply was our Davey!
I missed his laugh, his stories of the day of how he just gav'er. and the way he could have us all at his attention listening to him speak.
Maggie, we are so happy that you came, as usual to join us hooligans, it wouldn't have been right without you! You are an incredible woman!
    And thanks for the beer!:freaky

Gotta say that one of the best sound bites of the weekend came from Adam on Saturday morning.... "It feels like there is a man in my head running around with a baseball stick!" :rofl:rofl
