I saw this pic, and all I could think of was the title for it:
was ronny delivering milk over the weekend
Yogurt! with lots of Garlic.
Wanna lick my windshield?
Joe (aka Carlo's cousin), wants to thank you guys for taking care of his bike.Is said he had a great time until about 3:20pm on Saturday.
He had surgery on Sunday and is starting therapy today. He wouldn't be driving anything till late January.
Mike that's for riding my bike home.
Hope you enjoyed the ride.
He's channeling his inner KLR...
or, accroding to drcool's sig, he's got hemeroids
Glad to hear he's going to be ok...could have been much worse for both of you!
No problem. I enjoyed the riding the GS home. Very comfy like a big couch and solid through the corners...but it felt like I was pushing a couch in the parking lot!
Scrubbed the chicken strips a little chasing DrCool and Motoaxe down some twisties, then tried the GS out on Taylor road to see how the beast handled off road. Even had a fun 50 yard water crossing. She's a bit dirty but unscathed
No, Im not going to the dark side...but it would be a nice addition to my garage. No hurry picking it up
What a blast! Great riding and company, hats off to all those that made it happen.
A few shots from the weekend.

Jeff took a spill attempting a loose gravely hill and took off his mirror.

Had to stop about 4 times for Jeff to reattach his gas can, as it turned out we only put on about 10k in the first 2 hours so gas was the least of our problems.

Good times people! I didn't take enough pictures though; too busy enjoying the great roads & company.
Here are a few photo's I did slow down for.....
This one reminds me...
...big thanks to KTMike for loading the rear of his pickmeuptruck full of wood & a bigger thanks to the FireWench for keeping it stoked
Hey thanks again for the great ride and making it all come together, and for the great company.
Ok, where to start..., what a great bunch, despite a small mishap I had a great time, great riding partners, trails etc. Not like me to leave a party early very often, I was tired Friday and wanted to save myself for Sat. ride/party,had I known friday that I would have "mobility issues" on Sat, I would have imbibed more. Next time, I promise . I like to ride where Im going, but I did learn the wisdom of a trailer, If you are going to push the limits of bike and self, you might not want to bust up you only ride home if you only have a couple days. On to the pic.s
The ride up From the Sarnia area Friday was windy and a bit tiring, but after a stop here in Dorset, the rest of the ride up hwy 35 to Dwight got the blood pumping again.
Being a little slow on the draw, meant I had to stay down the road in the rustic(what, no towels ) little cabin.
Well rested, I was up early Sat. to a frosty -2 on the bike thermo.
Over to the Wolfs den, where we formed a group of 4 to hit the trails on a frosty morn.
We set out on D101B south from Oxtongue Rapids making slow progress due to conditions and Jeff's dangly bits, lol. We must have been working hard and having too much fun for many pic.s as none of the nasty(fun)stuff got a lot of coverage.
We finally got to the "T" and were warned that a gate could be closed if we tried to get back out, so after a little exploring we decided to go back out and run Toutspawn rd. to the lake and beyond down sled trail #65.
Somewhere after this in the wet pureed moose shit covered ATV tracks, some moron fell over and got a boo boo, what a wuss. That was on the last 400 yards to the road which took quite some time, sweat, swearing and general fun to get to this blocking access to the nice dry road.
The injured moron now had developed a bad attitude dove right in and went for it making a successful trip to the right only suffering wet feet and a few years loss of clutch life. I ...ahem, I mean "he" then ran for his camera to film the others coming through just as........, they found a easier way around:huh
It looked alot worse than in the pic...., really!
Thanks to the rest of the guys for sticking with me and doing mellower rides for the rest of the day, as I said, a great bunch. We had a good lunch at the Fiery in Dorset , then did the Sherborne rd., which is a fun gravel/rock run back to the lake which was gorgeous as usual.
Wrapped it up with a run back to Baysville, then up South Portage rd. and home again. Great day, cant wait to do it all again, thanks to everyone who put this together, especially the guys who kept helping me pick up my bike, lol .
One last one from the trip home about halfway between Thorton and Shelburne, love that road.
Well, Damn, that was fun!
Really glad we tried it two-up, particularly with the scala setup allowing us to shoot the shit along the way.
Ron - the image of you bearing down on that gate is seared into my memory. Surprised it wasn't us since we had lost the rear brake for good by that time. Good times.
It's a real shame we can't do this every weekend.
Great pics everyone!
I had a fantastic time. It was great to have a good turnout once again. Like most of you, I was too busy riding and forgot to take pictures I do have a couple that I will post soon.
Stay tuned for confirmation about next years event. We should be able to get the entire Wolfden reserved for us so that nobody is left without a bunk. We've tentatively set the date for Sept 30-Oct 2, 2011.
I posted a bunch of photos here:
hey Joe, are you out there? How's the leg doing? Don't let this get you down, hope to see you for next years season.
Here's part 3 with new music, chasing 690 Dave down a fire road.
