Lots of mountains already, so I thought I'd post up one from the prairies - this is south of Cypress Hill Prov Park, not far from Medicine Hat, AB, (summer 2012)

Lycan1, nice photo! Reminds me a bit of this one taken south of Calgary as well. Yours has that great front range backdrop, while mine just has the bike.

Lots of great photos showing up in threads, so I thought I would resurrect this from the place dormant threads go to rest.

Let's see some more of this great area.

I will start things off with a few from this year.

Ah jeez... a topic like this deserves some preparation and work to truly do it justice.

But, I'm lazy, it's pissing rain, and I really should go out and finish putting new sprockets and tires on bike for when/if the rain ever stops. So I'll just contribute from the quick and easy route; most of these are from the southeast Kootenays:

A different view of Mt Robson, you say? Coming right up!

Taken just outside Valemount while cat-skiing. Approx 80km away and it still looks massive. Even moreso when you see it from elevation and it still dwarfs the surrounding range....

Thats me on the far left, and my wife on the left in the front row with the snowboard. Good times :D

    Edit*

    Found the panorama, too!

What a great thread! Please, please note where the photos are, like some contributors have done, because I'm going to (or going back to) some of these places. Great incentive, thanks!

No good riding, scenery or weather in Western Canada. Move along folks, Nothing to see here. The motorcyclists are not friendly, the girls all heavy and homely and gas costs a whole lot more, when you can find it. don't bother visiting. I hear southern Ontario is nice.

Damn Jager, you photos are beautiful!

Mine are merely snapshops. Actually, my camera died during the trip, and most of my photos were taken with a Playbook tablet. Saved the day. I was about to go buy a camera until I decided to try out the Playbook, and the results weren't bad.
