    Home..
We all caught some rain and wind, but no one bitched too loudly. There wasn't much going on at Parkfield, except for us and a dog or two. All in all, a good day!

It was fun. Half a dozen hearty souls. Good food. Laughs & lies.

44 degrees in a couple of spots headed back in the rain & wind.

What could be better? You guys missed out.

I checked the weather station out there.. the temp dropped to 38 right after we left!

The rain had pretty much quit when I got back to the south side of the grade. Easy riding from there on to Santa Maria. It looked like Treadless might catch a little more on the way to Santa Barbara, though. Kinda black down that way. Always fun in Parkfield!

Just home, 388.1 miles for a burger? Oh yeah, it was sleeting/hail/&snowing on 25 on the way home. Rained between the snow for all but 20 miles home. Was great! :loco :ricky
Was great to see the other danger rangers :D pics later. I need a nap :snore

Yeah, well, you guys may think you had fun, but I changed the shocks on my truck, did my taxes, and picked up dog crap in the back yard

My day was a thrill a minute. :choppa

Just got out of the shower thawing out!
It was a great ride and nice seeing everyone that braved the elements. I'm not sure why, but that was the best burger I think I've ever had in Parkfield.
It was very cold and windy on my way north, must have been because of all the snow on the peaks and high ridges!
Thanks for calling it Andrew, maybe you can pick another day and fit in an eat and smell the flowers ride!

Roger, you are a definitely a man among men. :thumb

Glad you all had a good and safe ride - it didn't even rain in Berkeley today, just way cold, though it sounds like Garry found some moisture on the way back.

Just in and not so dry. Yes, it rained pretty good from Paso past Santa Maria. And I should have put on the rain suit :baldy, I think my butt is pruned. Had the heat up to simmer so I didn't notice 'till I stopped. :vardy Now I remember the saying, if you got it, wear it!

It was worth the 350 mi. for company of y'all. Was good to see those that had the courage to brave a little water.

    Till next time :freaky

Yeesh. I caught just a little hail at Atascadero, but not very much. Good to see you again, and glad to hear that you made it home without freezing to death. :clap

Went out Choalame on the way out:

I was dicking around with the radio when I hit that going about 50. Definitely got my attention. Had me quite concerned if you guys were heading out that way also. I made a loop out to Paso Robles to check out Firestone Brewery :1drink since I'd never been there before. Place was so packed out, I just left and hit it all the way up 101 back home. Great seeing all you guys. Temps were low but spirits were up! Next time I promise to be on a bike so I can freeze my ass off just like you guys! :lol3
    Brave, hearty men these!
