Back at you Bob! Enjoy the holidays. Didn't see enough of people this past year and am hoping to do a better job in the new decade.
Off in the morning with a couple of excited kids waiting at home.

You know in Sweden and Belgium they use Motocycles to fight fires.
Husaberg used to make a 4 stroke offroader that had a waterpump attached to the engine. You carry a 100ft of 2 or 3 inch hose and sump and plop it in the nearest river, lake, pool and take care of business. They are used for quick strike teams. I tell ya! California needs bikes like this. Not just for brush fires but for places with narrow roads like the hills above down town LA. Get a guy on a bike and he can ride it into someone back yard use their pool and foam up a hillside or roof and give a house time until the roads are cleared for hte big engines. Ive personlly lobbied Tom Lebond about using Motorcycles for this use.
In japan they have squads called "Quick Attackers" [IMG]
Here is an old school Russian version.[IMG] Here is a compnay called FIRE EXPRESS. http://www.firexpress.com/ They supply most of EU with their BMW Fire Bikes. They use compressed foam and the head spray units can be used as a battering ram to break down doors and glass.[IMG]

Sorry for the hijack, But I live in a super fireprone area.I think fast attack Fire Bikes could help slow down fires until the bigger engines can arrive. Especially in hard to reach areas. My area is so bad that my neighbor and I bought a 1971 Lefrance engine and restrored it and its our personal unit for our canyon. My neighbor is a fireman in the LA area.

He's doing pretty well, probably will never ride on a truck again but I think he's going to work at the academy training newbies the beginning of the year.

I'm up for that, Bob. Let's pick a non-holiday weekend in Feb and make a run to Pozo or somewhere on Hwy 1 for a hookup!

    Hey Bob,
Still here in beautiful Cambria. No real reason to want to leave at this point. What part of February would work? Walt you have any suggestions? I would love to get together and if we set a dte early enough we could actually organize something.
