3547958A-540C-4770-9AF6-8CE7ACF57213.jpeg I'm starting my first big ADV ride on July 14. Looks like it will be about 5500 solo miles. After being cheated on and going through a bad divorce after 16 years of marriage I'm turning to the GSA and the road to do some soul searching. Coming out of Colorado! Hope to meet some new and interesting people!

Sounds like an excellent, and deserved, trip. Where are you starting from and what's your first day's plan? I may be available to ride part of the day with you if you'd like some company.

    Being cheated on sucks!
Being able to ride whenever you want, wherever you want, with whomever you want, for as long as you want......
    PRICELESS!

    Have fun. Be safe!

Leaving Colorado Springs on July 13 or 14 and heading to Jackson, WY. I have a hotel there on the 15. One of only three reservations I have made for the entire trip. Depending on when I get on the road I may either try to get to Jackson quickly (14th) go through Estes Park (13th) on a more senif route.

Good plan...If you choose the scenic route on the 13th, and want company for part of the day (totally get it if you don’t), then let’s coordinate and meet up. We’re more or less on THE scenic route to Estes from C. Springs.
Either way, I hope this trip helps you get your head straight and that it’s a great time!

Sounds like a great! trip I'm at the bottom of Vancouver Island in Sidney. I didn't realize that you can ride up the coast from (what looks like) Bella Coola to Price Rupert? Subscribed...

Edit- you must be taking the ferry along the coast?

Got home about an hour ago from seeing Russell off in proper ADV Inmate style.
I’m sure that he’ll update this with his perspective at some point and I’ll just say that he’s a great guy and it was my honor to ride with him today and share what tidbits of experience I’ve learned from our travels.
You’re gonna have an AWESOME time man...now go enjoy the experience! :beer

Subscribing.... @Md11 flyer, nice to “meet” you. Now I’ll always wonder if it’s you I’m seeing above or below over the Pacific...sounds like it won’t be for at least a few weeks!

Hello inmates!!! Here is my first trip report. I just got to Prince Gerirge and am have a little coffee taking a break. So far the ride has been AMAZING!!! First I have to thank Vic (project mayhem) for meeting and riding with me on day one! We spent the day riding and talking via senas and he really gave me some great advice, encouragement and some tech checks to make sure I was ready. Thanks again Vic. The Khata is is on the bike and wearing in nicely and the alarm you loaned me has come in handy several time.
