The strom would be a handfull on the canning and fuel range would be a problem anything is possible though. What i noticed in the simpson was the transalp suspension let it down on the aproach to the dunes, they were very wooped and there is a limit to how fast mark could hit them so this affected whether you get to the top easily or not i assume the strom would suffer the same. In many cases mark would get off the track to the smooth sand if possible with mixed results. For the simpson you could do the rig road maybe? best was to find out is give it a go.
    Cheers ADC

Cant believe i missed this before. Great report just doing one of those desert trips is epic but 5 awesome, esp the Canning. A welcome relief from reading American reports that complain that the Wifi internet connection is slow they must be in the wilderness now.

we are still so lucky to have wild and vastly untravelled places in this free country of ours, we should not take this for granted.

glad you found the story, I must copy it.

Thankyou for and epic ride report of your epic ride thru 5 deserts and a territiory in Austrailia... I have often wondered what the interior of Austrailia was like...you do have lots of sand...it amazes me that your machines still would operate with all the sand clogging things up...To Fish's bum I am sorry to see such horrific injuries and pray you recover well....your spirit is amazing too. All said and done this has been an amazing read...:clap :freaky

Whilst a couple of months late, what a gem of a story to come across. You guys are legends! One could only dream of having the opportunity to experience an adventure of this calibre and I'm sure you will all remember it for a long time to come.

    Awesome

Hope the "Fish" is back on the bike.
