I don't think it looks bad, but I've always been a low fender man myself.

Appreciate you guys chiming in! Im pretty split on it, haha but heres the high fender mount and some pictures, hopefully soon id like to pick up a 990 fender for a cleaner low option! 2FF7E579-7BD2-46C5-8DE9-243336A697FF.jpeg
Super simple bracket that goes where horn mounts

so whenever i want the high fender its good to go! Ive put about 30 miles on the 21” front, its a heidenau k79, its pretty gummy and very agressive, bike it pretty unstable above 60mph, but i kind of enjoy it on the backroads, so now i have a 17”, 19”, and 21” i can swap between !

My buddy and i switched bikes for a bit, riding a klr650 after this, its like a couch with a briggs and straton! 1B79E4FB-4FA5-42A3-B7F3-B83125F48A24.jpeg

made some foot pegs, lower and forward a bit, much needed ! Just bent up some steel, some cj designs extensions doing all the grip work.

That's pretty cool. I'm not a fan of the front brake caliper mount, but if your riding is mostly gentle off road, I doubt it'll be a problem. I think it needs some radiator and exhaust protection!

    Nice job.

    Cheers... Paul

Thank you, i appreciate it! Yeah fortunately no light off-roading for this one, she gets action everytime shes out haha i must admit if i was on the outside looking in id think the same, but its actually much stronger then it looks. I can lock up the front with relative ease, tire should always give way before that mount, with knobbies at least! Yeah absolutely those are coming up very shortly on the to do list!

Slow speed is nice actually, ive been whipping it around some single track. High speed is bad haha i haven’t got new springs yet so forks are under sprung, rake is alittle to steep, tires and weight ect.

As the owner of a stock-ish red 2015 FJ-09, I'm loving this build. Not something I'd do, but it makes me happy to know that some crazy bastard is out there building an FJ into a monster mutant dirtbike.

Okay!! Personally, couldnt look at it anymore, soon as i got back, tore the front off and built a nav tower! Back to the rally portion again 7B5A9B38-32C9-4824-B815-F1EA566E9B2E.jpeg BFAC5A62-ABFE-4329-87E9-A85771662A00.jpeg B325293F-202B-43CF-9F33-984088CF07CB.jpeg AB35FAED-C88D-4010-849B-C0F52B240653.jpeg

Super cool. I wonder what it would look like with the tower and the high fender.

Your buddy's BMW is way cool too.

appreciate it! Yeah i actually had both on to decide , heres a pic A9EF628B-F09A-49F1-950F-BCD8053CFBA0.jpeg
I think im leaving the high fender off with these forks, think ill be swapping when i find a good deal on some inverted forks. Great forks but the bike looks so modern they just stick out like a sore thumb. Some more bmw goodness 4A0C7ADA-4B23-4A03-B438-C0D1667E8335.jpeg 937DF797-563A-459C-9A6E-BA1D0D25A647.jpeg

I like the combination of the tower and high fender a lot. It's begging for a custom fender that complements the lines of the shrouds.
