    this is a long shot.

I'm trying to turn my r1150r into a LD tourer for my father for the summer, and I'm trying to do it on a budget.

His goal is Fort Lauderdale to San Diego back to Fort Lauderdale.

If any of you have something compatible with a 1150r you're looking to get rid of, let me know. As of right now, the bike is completely bone stock.

Screens, seats, highway pegs, tail and tank bags, possibly lights, bar risers, etc.

If you have anything you want to part with for a few bucks, let me know.

Michelin Desert 140/80/18 for sale.$50(they're over $100 new)- 250 miles mostly dirt with very little wear. I'd take a trade for a 120 606 or durable IT dirt tire , riding gear or spare bike parts. I don't want to ship. Pick up only.

I have a like new set of klr650.com Studebaker lowering links. I bought the bike with them and wanted it back to stock. They're $84 with a flashlight from their site. I have no flashlight to offer so I'll let them go for $35 shipped with no flashlight in the continental US.

I also removed and replaced the monoshock from my 88 KLR. All the gas and oil on the inside went AWOL. There's how to online to rebuild it. If anyone wants one to try on I have one here. $25 shipped in the continental US and its yours, still no flashlight to offer.

Jaydee - I'm looking for a D606 rear for a KLR I just picked up. How much you looking to get for it? Also, you have a picture of the wear?

Maybe a stupid Noob question, what the hell is Ribtoberfest? Thanks.

ISO a small, serviceable (usable) regular pull behind or pop up camper. Must be less than 19 foot. Nothing fancy. Primitive is fine as long as it's low cost.

Not interested in going further east than Tallahassee (and that's even too far) to buy.

Otherwise I'll pop for a nice one with all the amenities. PM me if it's within the panhandle area. Need pix too.

    TIA.
