If I'm slow enough to just learn this after being here for years, maybe it will help someone else. Sorry if it's already been covered...

For years I was copying the code from the BBCode box on Flickr and pasting it right into Advrider.

Then, I learned that after you paste into your Advrider message, you could edit off the second and third URL tags to prevent the "<Name> on Flickr" line after the photo. But that still leaves the hyperlink back to your whole Photostream! Someone can click on the pic on Advrider and see every one of your personal pics on Flickr!

So, I just recently learned you can take off the first URL tag as well, and leave only the code within the IMG tag. I'll add some spaces to the example below so it doesn't resolve into a pic when I send this. I hope it works...

The BBCode code from Flickr usually looks something like this...

    [ur l=https://flic.kr/p/JKvZer]
    [im g]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4678/28059444359_0068712459_c.jpg[/img][/URL]

    [ur l=https://www.flickr.com/photos/34068258@N02/]ag_streak[/URL], on Flickr

After pasting to Advrider, edit out everything except the IMG tag...

    [im g]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4678/28059444359_0068712459_c.jpg[/img]

And only the pic itself will be displayed in Advrider with NO hyperlink back to your Photostream.

There's probably a better way to do this in Flickr, but I don't know it!

Two easy ways that I do it with no back trace.

    1. After you have the photo in "view all sizes" you can choose right click "copy image address" and then paste it in the square box.

    2. From the same screen you can choose "copy image" and just drop it into the body, again no back trace, or trimming.

    Example one.

    Example two.

Thanks! I never did it from the View All Sizes screen. I always used the Share Photo icon and chose BBCode. Your way is much faster!

"Copy Image Address" just pasted into Advrider as a hyperlink. I had to use "Copy Image". Maybe my browser?

    Thanks again.

Yes, different browsers are slightly different, but get the same result.

OP, I do the same as you.

When on the full web browser, I like how one is able to grab the BBcode for various image sizes.

When on the Flickr app, however, the Share arrow only reveals one option: Copy URL.

    example:
    https://flic.kr/p/D4Rprq

...which, put inside IMG tags, seems to not work:

Instead, on mobile, I temporarily ‘Save Image’ from Flickr and then use the picture icon in Tapatalk to insert the photo.
This yields an easy post (and also prompts with a few choices for pixel size):

Flickr used to have this option, but updates made mine go away on the iPhone.

I think this company still makes it easy.
