Waaah Waaaah Waaaah......................
Now how do I spray paint my motorcycle?
If you don't know... you'll prolly have to pay somebody.
You should make a "Team Krylon vs. Team Bedliner Extreme" poll while you are at it!
Smokin thread Creep....YOU ROCK , what's your brew of choice? I've got two insulated panniers waiting to chill some off. You can even take her for a spin, she' 100% stock.
Every time I do a poll, it turns to Kaka... so I'll pass.
You drink 'em for me D... I can't stand beer.
I rode a stock 640 once... once. I don't think your's will be stock for long.
How the hell can I with all this awesome info, I was going to leave it stock for a few months, now it just isn't possible.
...I've got some Tasmania Bush Liquor coming soon from Hobart, I'm turning Japanese, I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese ---oh wait.. wrong country
man you guys are impatient.
bought it at motosports in boise.
Read old threads? Hey man.... how many times I gotta tell ya?? Ya gotta stop living in the past, dude!
Looks like the FCR one...short taper
yeah its not the same taper but it works fine. will probably by loaded's one when they are ready. the bike really idles nice now. almost as smooth as my klr. a little choke and it ticks right along at 1200 rpm if you want. lots more low end.
i am getting ready for a work day at Idaho City this weekend. gona be there for two days. will probably load up both bikes just for fun.
the powers that be should pin this as its that good. besides I might find a LC4 that the seat wont bitch slap my ass one day.
Any old LC4 with one of these will solve that problem...
Anyone try aftermarket carbs??? What kind??
What mpg are we all getting from the BST40 these days? I recall my 1999 LC4 stock was over 50, but I didn't ride much high rpm at the time. I never got a chance to check it with the open exhaust and lowered gearing. With my pumper carb I consistently get 38mpg with 16/45 gearing which puts me at 6krpm 90% of the time, lots of highway.
Does anyone ride with a BST40 at 6krpm and still get in the high 40's mpg?
Awesome info Creep. Thanks.
I have one question......
Why isn't this info along with the LC4 valve adjustment info and all the other good stuff like that put in one place for all to read?
Who runs this joint? Can we get it done?
I see that valve adjustment is stickied over on KTM Talk.
Maybe we could just sticky those hot topics here.
Go to the bottom of the page. See where it says "wisdom". There you go... :eek1
Just call me dipshit.
