"Ta Da!!! I am here and having a blast!!!" Yep, quote unquote when I asked. Not much of a story other than not being stuck in the day-to-day grind of life and instead of the grind, being outside on two wheels with family/friends seeing new parts of the world. She has been doing this since 5 years of age when we first went to the Black Hills in South Dakota.

34B0DD2C-DE0D-4EF4-B4AF-85EB360607F2.jpeg Quick ride through the back roads for root beer floats with my girl on Daddy Daughter Day. Her first ride with her new helmet (she picked it out). I put a headset in it so we can communicate and it made our ride much better. I love being able to hear about her experience when we ride.

This is so cool to read after having followed your story back in 2009! I am happy to see (especially as the father of a daughter) a happy story!

First ride with my Daughter piloting a bike on her own. The road turns to dirt past my house so we've got these nice little spots for her to practice. Yes I know she needs boots. She grew out of her old ones and I haven't got new ones yet.

We rented this JKU for a day on vacation last month and ran some trails in Roosevelt Nat’l Forest. Buzzbabygirl was my copilot and loved reading the trail maps and calling out our intersections!

Although the 2004 KTM 200exc has been a good bike, when we returned home she vowed to upgrade her ride. She wanted lighter, better suspension and e-start.

    image.jpg

    She scored a ( barely) used 2018 150xc-w.

    image.jpg

And she took 3rd in the women's class at the Moonshine Enduro:clap

And she can use that grab handle for stunting...

So far she loves it. It will need a few little tweeks for her. She needs to adjust to a different power delivery than the 200.

She went into the scrub a few time during the enduro, and she commented that the grab handle was very conveniently placed:lol2. I don't think she is quite ready for stunting!
