My youngest daughter had to take a furlough week and asked me if I wanted to ride. Since graduating college last summer and starting a new job, she hadn't been riding at all. I keep a small bike in the garage in case my daughters want to go for a ride. I had almost given up hope that they would ever ride again and planned to sell the little bike this winter. Luckily my wife convinced me to keep it.
So we rode through Oregon wine country and stopped at Hagg Lake. A beautiful day for a ride and my favorite way to social distance myself.

Funny our different perspectives. When you said that you keep a small bike for them to ride, I figured a 125 or 175 Honda or something like that. I would have never guessed a Guzzi!

It's a 750, so displacement wise it's a pretty good size, but it's dimensions are very small. I taught my girls to ride on a CBR250R. The CBR was a great bike to learn on but once they knew how to ride it was a little under powered for some of the longer trips that we did. I got them a CB500X, which was the perfect size and a great bike except for the Pogo stick suspension. We rode the CBX quite a bit until they were both in college. I sold the CBX and got the Guzzi V7-III Stone for myself as a 2nd bike and something that my girls could ride if they were home. I love the V7 looks and the engine is great but the suspension is awful and I feel like a flagpole when I ride it. One of these days I'll upgrade the suspension, which should make it a better bike.

Not really, she'll ride the ATV out to check on the cows but that's about it. Husband and five year-old son are riding though.

She's not opposed to it or anything like that, just being a mom is her priority right now.

View attachment 2384688 From last weekend. My 30YO's first time on a dirt bike in ~10 years. She came up to camp with us. I had just come in from trail clearing and she was getting ready to head out on my wife's FreeRide.
