Here is proud dad "Losiu" with our 3 year old daughter, Sophia. Once she gets on the bike it's hard to get her off. She has already told us that when she gets "big" and turns 5, she's getting her OWN KTM.

This is Alice and she is my world. Nearly 3 weeks old and adorable. I doubt she will ever get on my bike because mummy will cut off something very dear to daddy if she ever does.

Funny thing about the name Alice. We discussed names and it came down to two for a girl and I don't know why but Alice stuck in my head for some reason.

Watching Moto GP ( which Susan hates ) just after she was born and ......

tap....tap.....tap......So whats up dlrides ? Anyone want to make a trip to tellico plains with their daughters ? I'm just 200 miles away. My daughter and could do it. Of course i'd have to ask her first. And...school is starting in a few weeks. Of course it wouldn't have to take place this year. Maybe as soon as school is out next year.

Maybe a new thread on the subject is in order.

not to add any more "mist", but I found out last night that a 13yo girl in my daughter's youth group passed away yesterday from cancer.

Can there be anything more horrible for a parent to go through? Please remember the family.

    thx.

My daughter has been riding with me since she was 7 (going on 12 now).
My son started just this past year He's 10 (dad was sans bike for a few years. :( )
However he is riding a RM80 now also. :thumb So he is making up for lost time. :D

The kids are a HUGE reason my wife got her 650GS.
Now we ride together every chance we get.

Not many picutres as we are having too much fun riding, but here is one from this past June on the Oregon coast.

I take my kids whenever I can. They are ALWAYS wanting to go and I don't complain one bit. :D

This is a great thread! I have a 4 y/o dtr who loves to ride around the neighborhood in front of me on my XR 400. "Faster, Daddy!" Uh-oh, don't tell mommy.... this afternoon my two y/o son asked to go for a ride for the first time! We tooled up the road a few hundred yards and back... he's lovin' it! Something I love that I want to share with my kids!

So on a related note... maybe this is for a new thread? Safety and taking our kids... anyone used the RiderRagz harness (which seems pricey!) or any other system like it? Best gear for kids? I want to take my dtr on the GS in the next year or two but I worry that with any distance she may fall asleep.

All the best to you who clearly care deeply for their children. What a wonderful and super chapter in life, huh!:D
