There was a way to eliminate all posts in a thread but the OPs before. Can we get that back?
You mean that menu of who posted in a thread? And you click on a name and you get their posts?
I dont see this anywhere on my phone.. I agree with snowmule, this isnt nearly as useful as maybe a link to a page listing my previous posts?
Will this function return? Please, pretty please, and oh for the love of all things good, PLEASE!!!!
You can see all of your previous posts by hovering over your name in the top right corner of the screen and clicking on "Your Content".
Loving the new site. Well done...
thank ya sir!
And OH so true…
No, I meant the "The thread De-crufter."
TIL that multiquote doesn't work across threads.
What theme are you using? I use it across threads all the time. It doesn't work across tabs, or with the back button though.
Revo. I tried it a day or two ago and I did not get the "insert quote" button. No biggie, I just did it the old-fashioned way, cut-n-paste from the other thread.
Three different threads, works with I devices.
Interesting. I wonder if it relates to my cookie settings? I don't allow third party cookies.
When I click on Ignore Thread, I'm given several options of how I want to ignore the thread.
Seems to me the boxes ought to be checked by default. I have to click all three boxes to ignore the thread.
Great catch! Give it a try now...
That's it! Good show.
The quote function limits now much text you display, with a "click to expand" appearing.
That's fine if you're quoting a post. But what about when you want to show that your text is a quote from an outside source and is not your own writing? That's been a traditional use of the quote box. But now it no longer works as well. That's because the text is neatly cut off after a sentence. And people probably won't realize there's more. The Click to Expand direction is small and easily overlooked.
So, basically, if it's not an ADV forum post that's being quoted, we should have it show the full quoted text.
That's the idea. I can see the problem, though.
