    Damn you, until now I could always stand up against buying an aftermarket exhaust. Now I'm looking into buying a mivv

    I really want a cat though... Would you happen to know if an OEM cat can be fitted into the mivv? I'm not desperate to pay €79 extra for it

    I don’t know about the OEM cat, but I kinda doubt it. My MIVV didn’t come with one but I recently had the US importer, which happens to be 5 miles from me, order one from MIVV. Fitment was easy and mellows the sound a bit, which I like. I’m curious how long it will last but I can always order another one if need be.

    @guzziraz
    I used to have a MIVV and had the CAT in there too.
    I've since switched to a Mistral silencer but I'm still using the MIVV Cat.
    I'm afraid you won't be able to use the original CAT with an Aftermarket exhaust.

    I wonder what the Db level will end up set too. While some exhausts sound wonderful those strait pipes are just f*cking annoying on certain cruisers and you can hear Japanese inline 4’s a mile away at high RPM with some exhausts. At least they didn’t just flat out ban bikes like they did in Quebec City.

    It will be interesting to see if we get electronically adjustable baffling for exhausts in the future, sort of like how the camero adjusts the sound of the exhaust on the fly depending on the mode it’s in.

    I have seen exclusions in some European cities. In the US levels of acceptable noise seem to be already specified https://www.semasan.com/resources/exhaust-noise-laws-state Aside from some motorcycles with straight pipes, I'd have a hard time believing many of the bro-dozers around here would comply.

    The weather was as nice at Crater Lake yesterday as it was on the Oregon coast.

    Mental note: I have got to slow down, stop and take a few pictures!

    I was with Otter Chaos in Colorado, we were on this off the beaten path dirt road. Spectacular vistas all around and yeah, I saw em'. Did I stop and take any pictures? Nope! Couldn't be bothered. Thanks Shuckinator, it was good to meet you.
