My new toy...
A chilly afternoon ride.. 45F/7C
Near Canberra, Australian Capital Territory early this morning.
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
few pics from unfinished ride that cost me an arm and a leg…and almost my life…
@chief 06 , I wish you a speedy and as painless as possible full recovery. Until then I patiently await more of your extraordinary style of photos to be added to this thread again. Get the most famous Stelvio in NYC back on the road again.

Thank you for get well wishes and cheerful words of encouragement. Stelvio and I are repairable, we both have small amount of damage, more cosmetic than mechanical, which will be repaired and safely returned to the road.
Quiet Friday afternoon . . .
Beautiful pictures as usual!
Well.., except for that scratched up muffler of course!!
I noticed the beautiful pictures yesterday. Didn't notice the scratches...
...until now. Thanks @Xlratr.
I have not visited this thread for so long.. unbelievable how fast time passes.
@HarveyMushman I was starting to miss your photography, am happy to see you back at it and sharing.
@chief 06 heal well, it feels like soon the summer weather will be here! It certainly did feel so for me today, after so many rainy cold days, finally enjoying a ride without bulky garments - the temp was up around 65F and up to nearly 70F in the afternoon.
Slick and muddy. Melted snow makes a mess. No one with me, so I didn't cross, at least a foot deep, from experience I know it's slick too. The last pics will be a place for bird watching to just hiding from the world.
Bricks plant. I know it's for performance and being more mobile friendly, but wish they didn't change the forum on one previous aspect of picture handling, you could simply click the photo and got full resolution. Now I have to 'open in new tab' and then zoom in to see better details - such as the bricks.
Nice to see Stelvios Up and Running ...Y'all stay safe and well, Ya hear?
I haven't seen my roughed up Stelvio since January? I'm in no rush, but it won't be long now that snow is almost gone.
How many cats and raccoons will I need to evict from the shed, that is the question!
Thank you Sir, I'm picking up strength and speed, at work that is...pacing off the streets, scaling buildings... using 'do what you can with what you have' technique. Not quite 'going all the way' as Bukowski would want us to perhaps,

I'm glad to read that you are in good spirits, and although all I can really offer are thoughts, and words, I believe it's only from within that we lift ourselves.
“Every difficulty in life presents us with an opportunity to turn inward and to invoke our own inner resources. The trails we endure can and should introduce us to our strengths. Prudent people look beyond the incident itself and seek to form the habit of putting it to good use. On the occasion of an accidental event, don’t just react in a haphazard fashion: remember to turn inward and ask what resources you have for dealing with it. Dig deeply. You possess strengths you might not realize you have. Find the right one. Use it.” Epictetus
Acapulco is amazing, I had the fortune to be there, many moons ago, and enjoyed this beautiful city.
PS I hope your Stelvio isn't too banged up other than easily replaced parts.
