    Glad he wasn't another Harry.

Pretty soon we will all have tracking chips shoved up our asses or surgically implanted in our brains so we might all be tracked by on a minute to minute, second to second basis. I guess not many travel of their own accord these days...

If some one back home really wants to track some one why not have a spot or other tracking device on, it would sure make it go smoother for those back home watching. Sure this guy was just having some of the best times of his life:huh

I thought it was the victim who was supposed to "cry wolf"

[/BThnak you to everyone from his family and friends.]:clap

Keith was located 200 miles north of PV and stopped by two bikers who recognized him from our posts. They lent him a phone to call his son.

Thank you to all the folks in Mexico and around the world who passed on the info that allowed us this outcome. Cheers :freaky

I am so glad this turned out well!

I plan to be doing the same sort of solo ride in a couple of weeks and being from Alberta and 58 myself this felt particularly close to home and captured my attention. The ADVrider Network is excellent.

Some good points on what to do to prepare for the trip and I'll heed the don't ride here right now warning.

It is wonderful that ours worst fears about Keith were unfounded. If you are going to go off the grid for a while it is probably best to make sure that the grid does not care.

This time of year there seems to be a disproportionate number of Canadians on the roads in Mexico.

...and all us Americanos sitting at our computers envying them.
