I'd take a little bike over a 790 for this route easy. You'll be wishing you were on your 150 a few times :D

There's like 14 hours of daylight each day. 14 hours x 3 days is 42 hours divide the 700 miles and that's not even 17mph average. Sounds like a pleasant laid back time to me :dunno

In... trailering my 525 EXC out to Taskers. I’ll be at the main parking lot on the Taskers side of 675. I won’t have cell reception there, but I’m coordinating with Dan on what time to arrive, etc.

That all depends on how much daylight you spend sleeping in.... LOL.

Looks like big bike ride to me. :lol3

Though I will say Dans little Bike rides are seriously best ridden on small bikes. Oh, and did I mention I'm working this weekend? Or in other words, nope won't be there to help push, or be pushed.

    Have a great time!

What gearing & tires will you be running ? Im guessing 13/50 & full offroad tires would not be the hot set up .
Is everyone carrying full camp out gear ?

Yep, everyone has full camp gear. Dunno about the others but I’m running a fresh K760 on the back, Scorpion Rally up front. Skipping the high speed pavement as someone else is geared real low. By high speed I mean interstate. Still doing 55mph (posted :lol3) roads.

I'm still on the stock TKC80s, stock 100mph+ gearing, and stock propensity to flame out at idle. So its going to be ugly on some of the trails.

DCRider, what is your fuel range situation? Dan has a tank freakin' large enough to do the whole trip w/o refilling. The two of us from MD have stock tanks. Mine is 9L (2.4g) and Greg's is prob similar but we all are efi and should get 50+mpg.

With this many people, new bikes, new gear and having never ridden together. Not...a...freaking...clue :lol3

We've got around 170 miles (with mucho off road) to Big Levels from our proposed Friday night camp. So Big Levels will be later in the day on Sat. If I have service and don't forget, I can shoot ya a text on saturday as things progress.
