Are you sure? That page says they are happy to send you a brochure:

Doesn't sound like the book to me but let us know! :nod

I know... that's the strange thing.

I was expecting some map or something small packed with ads and stuff. That was around 2 or 3 weeks ago. Last night I went to my mailbox and got a frickin' book. No ads, nothing else in the plastic envelope or anything.

The way I figure, I pay too much taxes in the first place. This way, I actually see something I get from it! :D I think that the DOT just has some extra money in their marketing budget. (Why they don't use it to fix some of the highways is another topic)

My wife and I took the book to a restaurant and started some trip planning ourselves.

Thanks! I used that site to "explore" various byways to base the plans for my big ride with my brother and sister-in-law this summer. The site is very helpful, but sometimes its nice to have it in print too and I had never noticed that offer.

TANSTAAFL.... they'll put your name on a list.. and the you'll be the first to go ..;-)

That site says "brochure" not a book, sounds like they're going to send some marketing material only.

Our D/S bikes are named after cross dressers in movies/series. Thus Dr. Frankenfurter (from RHPS of course) and Agent Bryson from Twin Peaks. Almost went with Agent Smeckler from Boondock Saints.. but it doesn't sound as nice as Agent Bryson ;-).

Okay, back to the topic.... ordered it also, provided throw away email and used an address that's effectively throw away..
