Happy birthday you old fart!
Glad I'm not that old... at least for another couple of months.
Once more round the sun! Good onya cap'n Buzz
So I have a dilemma for all you who have been there and done that;
I bought the 200XCW a little over a year ago, planning on riding it to get back into racing shape after my accident. That hasn't happened, in fact - riding the 200 I get "the fear" and I just can't ride hard like I used to. Therefore I just haven't ridden it much. Let my AMA and SERA lapse.
Then I picked up the DR350, and I'm remembering how much fun it can be to ride slow.
So now, I'm wondering if there's any reason to keep the 200, when I'm not riding it and I could really use the funding that selling it would provide. It sucks, cause I thought I really wanted the bike but it's a screamer compared to my old 200, and I just don't know if I'm really wanting to haul the mail like I used to.
Shoulder injuries suck
HFBD Buzz, its all down hill from now on.
Happy birfday Buzz...
Welcome to the old fart club....
Why I remember when I was 49,wait no I don't.
Happy birthday Buzz
Thanks Fellas!! It’s been a great ride so far
@Hatch you know as well as anyone having been on the receiving end of “excess inventory” at Buzztopia that if you want another down the road they WILL make more
an example- my long gone Colt Python, and the 2020 Colt Python
That XT200 with the dry forks and ammo can panniers is calling you back
I gotta say, the DRjr is just right - same 90s feel of the xt, but enough power that I'm not wringing it's neck to go down the road.
Time for the Tw200... sayin
I like to see everyone's posts about your lives and pets. keep sharing! Know how some of you cherish your pets, so you will understand. :) In saying that, had to put down my best friend on October 27, 2019. Joy lived up to her name, and mornings aren't the same without her. She was the best companion a woman could ever have.
Joy is in the middle of the picture. It was taken at my mother's house. Mom was dog sitting.
Sorry to hear this. It never gets easier. And the rainbow bridge poem can be a tough read, but it helps in some weird way.
Sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is almost as bad as losing a family member..
Sorry for your loss Kim
That's really sad to hear Kim. I realize it's been months but that doesn't make the void you feel from the loss of your pup any less.
I've got a 12 year old border collie and keep telling myself she'll live to be 15 at least even if I know the odds are heavily against that.
Thank you for your kind words. Time is short with them, but the rewards are plenty! Post a pic of your collie some time if you like. :)
Thank you, Dave. The poem, "Rainbow Bridge," is a tough read, but the sentiment couldn't be more accurate. People need to hand out tissues and Hendricks with that poem.
