I’m allergic to alcohol. And it’s too easy to get to.

Did the front wheel bearings on my 701 this afternoon. Seemed to go well. Old out and new in without requiring undue force. Heated up the hub with a heat gun and put the new bearings in the freezer for 30 mins or so. Neighbor's 1-1/4" socket stood in as a bearing driver. No clinking anymore when I try to rock the wheel sideways so I must have done something right. I have the parts for the sprocket carrier but I'm waiting on the rear wheel kit to come in off back order and I'll tackle that axle in one shot. Going off my avatar pic, it's no wonder I needed bearings after a couple years...

Neat place as they have a pizza oven inside and when the weather is nice, bands outside.

Doing this loop tomorrow (Lancaster/York/B'more/Harford/Cecil counties):

I start/finish down by Conowingo Dam if anyone is interested in tagging along. It's ~120 miles ~3.25 hours at my pace not stopping to smell the roses. Gravel and quiet backroads for the most part. A buddy did it with me on a SV650...I wouldn't say that's ideal but doable. Gas is available in a couple spots but I only have a 3.4G tank and as long as I fill up at the start (Royal Farms at 222/1) I can make it all the way around and back home.

I was just there yesterday after riding to the tag only to be bruced. No worries though as I was on my way to see my sister and her kids.

    Looks like a great loop.

@dstutz I might be heading down to the memorial camp out. Are you riding or caging the husky down?
